Historia
What would it look like to genuinely love God with our head and our heart? To have a faith marked by right thinking and right feeling? To know God deeply and worship him passionately? Too often, Christians act as though these things are at odds with one another. But what if God intends for us to possess a Christianity that is radically committed to biblical truth, in a way that did not diminish the life of the heart, but actually intensified it?

I loved this book. Right theology and Holy Spirit led passion have to work together. Thanks so much Adam Ramsey!

Historia
Long-time Bible teacher Kristie Anyabwile discovered as she prepared her lessons that a single inductive approach doesn’t do justice to the variety of genres that make up the Word of God. Because Scripture is a collection of writings that spans 1,500 years, many literary styles are represented, and each must be taken into account for the fullest understanding of God’s Word. Kristie shows you the immense value of studying the Bible literarily—that is, according to the literary style presented in a particular book, chapter, or passage.

In the last 5-10 years I’ve been learning how better to study the Bible. I’ve known some things about biblical genres, but this book really illuminates the importance of it. Thank you for writing this helpful book! I’ll be returning to it often!

Historia
What do you do with a little kid who...won't brush her teeth...screams in his car seat...pinches the baby...refuses to eat vegetables...runs rampant in the supermarket? Organized according to common challenges and conflicts, this book is an essential emergency first-aid manual of communication strategies, including a chapter that addresses the special needs of children with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders.

The message is great but the narration and writing style cringey

Wonderful, practical book
Revisado: 10-03-18
I have read a good number of parenting books and I have to say, this is one of my very favorites. Some parenting books are so theoretical about goals that I finish them wondering how I actually get there. I loved this book because there are so many practical tips and the assurance that all kids are different. It also doesn’t assume you will “follow the rules” every time, or be a perfect parent. This is a secular book, but these tips do not go against my Christian beliefs. I highly recommend it!
