hated the narrator I love the story when I read the book and I've read the book multiple times but this was so horrible trying to listen to the lip-smacking and fake voice that I did finish it but it was a struggle

Just okay
Revisado: 05-13-19
On par with other litrpg. Dan doesn't make for a very good MC even before the all the weird starts he sets himself up for failure like lose track of time play rather then going to the one class he's have trouble with. And after it's like he just turned his brain form standby to off. He sent 19 years a normal thinking person the whole barbarian thing might have given him some impulse issues not abandoning any thinking that lasts more then a thought. Even after he decides to think more the first thing he dose is rush in with out thinking.
And a little pet peeve as a barbarian he prays to Crom way to much, has he ever read a Conan book? "Little he cares if men live or die. Better to be silent than to call his attention to you; he will send you dooms, not fortune!" To quote Robert Howard.

Bad Game
Revisado: 04-03-19
Honestly as a gamer the biggest shortcoming this book had was the game mechanics. All the values were overinflated to the point they were ridiculous or meaningless, starting mobs with close to 1000hp, starting leather gear for 30000 coins, legendary gear a lvl 7 can use. All of this thing put together makes me think of Hazard as a very bad pay to win mmo and I'm not sure if the author has ever played a mmorpg game before trying to write a story about one. Even fantasy worlds need to be a little believable.
Next is the main hero guy, for someone who was once one of the games top players he makes some pretty stupid newbie mistakes and logic fails. One that stands out the most is a one on one duel with a legendary greek hero (sorry no spoiler) with an even more legendary weakness yet never once tries to capitalize on it. Then there's the main heroines, wow not one can be even closely thought of as normal. Psycho, nympho or sadists it's like a messed up neapolitan.
And lest the sex scenes, so juvenile I just fast forward through them.

Just Crazy Stupid
Revisado: 02-21-19
For whatever reason the author thought it be a good idea to take the MC give his personality a 180 and turn him in to a drunken a-hole. Even when he knows he's doing the wrong thing he debates himself and dose it anyway. I found myself skipping large parts of this book because I found the MCs whining and complaining to cringey to put up with.

Historia
Return to White Catcliff is Inna Val Helm’s debut novel presented by an unforgettable cast of characters. Fantasy and reality merge amid elements of anthropomorphism, eternal life, and dimensional existence. It tells the story of 30-something Nick Taylor and his black Lab, BD, who stumble upon a convenience store robbery in a suburb of present day Chicago and are left for dead. They awaken to find themselves in the tranquil village of White Catcliff, where inhabitants faced certain death immediately prior to arrival.

Dull
Revisado: 01-31-19
Dull and boring. Found nothing here humorous and the only thought that was provoked was "why did I buy this book?"
The narrator was decent but his mostly monotone voice did not help.

I'm out
Revisado: 01-28-19
First book was still the best of the lot and book 3 was almost as good till the author got to much in to the bdsm and rape (one of which was a minor). All I really have to say is the first book was good, second bad but this third was pure garbage I'm done with this series before I see what new lows are reached.

Need better audio editing.
Revisado: 01-04-19
Constantly hearing the narrator clear his throat and smack his lips in the silence between lines got rather grating on the nerves.
The story was enjoyable but honestly the writing was a bit weak, "don't bother trying to break that it's pure composite titanium." Umm composite metals aren't pure just saying. A lot of little things like that, okay on there own but things add up. I'll still probably get the next book just to see ware it goes.

Honestly this one was just okay. Story was more of the same but for whatever the reason Mark gave Ean a deep gravelly voice that grating to listen to. And honestly I'm sick of the cliffhanger endings.

Historia
Alvin had a rough week. Thrown into a digital death game, Apocalypse Gates, with only his wits and a less than helpful AI handler, Alvin's prospects for survival looked bleak. Managing not only to survive but to thrive, he helped build a settlement of survivors in Green River, Utah. Along the way he met the very sexy and broken Gothy. He's taken on the undead, mutated bugs and animals and the worst possible enemy - other people - and triumphed. Nothing looked like it would be a major problem, except for the flight of dragons.

First book was better
Revisado: 09-12-18
To be honest this book had way to much sex with cringe worthy dialog. It popped up here and there in the first book but here plot was set aside for poorly written sex scenes. Other issue was Becky and Alvin talk about being broken every conversation, the only "broken" people who talk about being broken all the time are stereotype goths who want the attention which both main characters seem to fall into. In the first book Alvin was at least a little relatable here it seems he wants to piss everyone off because he thinks he's untouchable when it comes to other people.

Revisado: 09-05-18
Spoiler maybe:
Let me say I loved the selfless hero trilogy, super sales and wild wastes but I enjoy them separately suddenly mashing all three together just feels a bit lazy. A story should stand on it's own, you shouldn't have to read two other book series just to get the whole picture of what's going on. This has me worried about the next super sales book.
