This is a nice start to the series & we do learn more about this couple in other stories but there are big gaps in their story, even with future revelations. But the story is nice & the relationship organic, not forced for the shortness of the story.
The story itself was ruined by the narration. I won't buy any more audible books with this narrator. Mispronounced words and an immature tone, emphasis on the wrong words are just examples of what went wrong. It was creepy at times, made me cringe.

This is a well written and well read story about a 22-year-old college student coming of age...a little late. The characters are well defined and likeable but Cat, the 22-year-old half-vampire-half-human female, is immature...in a likeable way but still immature.
The first thing she thinks about after waking up in Bones' bed is "What will my mother think?!?" and that's just one example of how young she is for a 22-year-old. She's still living at home with her mother and her ultra-conservative grandparents and still hides things from them as she tries to expand her world.
Bones' calls her on her immaturity several times, in fact, he sometimes states exactly what I'm thinking as I listen. "oh come on...!!!" Despite her immaturity, Cat is a charming character.
Bones' is interesting but I need more from his point of view. I feel like we don't get to know him very well and without that information it's hard to follow Cat as she falls in love with him. I'd like to see more internal dialogue from him as he learns more about Cat. I also wish he was stronger with her but that's just a personal preference. They work as a couple though there is a drastic age difference and a maturity difference as well.
Overall I'm meh on this one...I do think the author is a skilled writer. I just don't think she's going to write characters that will pull me in. A younger audience would appreciate these stories more.

What disappointed you about Werewolf Sex Club?
This was disappointing because of the very young and immature characters. There is no depth or strength in the characters nor the story.
The girls get together, as though in High School, and giggle and ahh over preternatural love-stories. I can't believe they were so foolish as to hire two boys to dress up as werewolves and chance them in the woods for sex.
