It was okay
Revisado: 03-18-23
I felt like the book started GREAT. I was getting really hooked for the first few chapters.
Spoiler- I felt like this was a mash up of a horny Beauty and the beast and phantom of the opera.
I felt like it had a pieces of originality but otherwise I felt this was very predictable. It was entertaining but, I am not interested in the rest of the series because of this book.
The performance of the reader was AMAZING. I just wish the story line was a little better. I feel it was a bit overrated. There’s worse for sure, it’s just not my personal favorite. It seems popular, lots seem to like it !

Historia
Handbook on the Book of Acts is part of the eight volume Apostolic Handbook series. In this handbook, the author thoroughly examines how we should read and study Acts so as to comprehend and fulfill the purposes for which God has given it to the church. Employing concepts in contemporary scholarship, the author has created it in a way that is understandable to all students of the Bible. This handbook is an excellent introduction to the significance, meaning, and content of an important portion of the word of God.

In-depth but plain language

I appreciate the author’s explanation of small things like “genres” and uses it to back his points. The reader/narrator couldn’t have read this better. He puts emphasis on the right words to get the correct meaning each sentence. It’s almost as if he is teaching you face to face slowly so you can understand. Thank you.
