Very foul language.

If gutter language is good, then this book is good. Disappointing that Mr. Bush could not tell his story without stooping so low.

Worth the time and effort

4 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 11-22-10

This book should be read/listened to - not for correctness - and not for conclusions - but because it broadens the background of almost every reader by presenting competing viewpoints to those propagated by academia and the popular media.

Where's the character development?

Total
2 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 04-14-10

How can a book be this long and focus on one character and have the character remain so shallowly depicted? There is action, but very little depth to make us care about the main character. And no other character in the book grows, either. For what it's worth, though, the narration is very good.

Good history, the author's superior air detracts

Total

Revisado: 08-18-09

The history is fascinating and the research is much appreciated. But the cynicism and the judgmental arrogance of the author get very tiresome long before the book ends.
