The authors must really need the money
Revisado: 04-25-21
The first mistake was to have Nick Sullivan narrate this book
He does such a great job with the McDermitt/ Styles series, that his narration of this book makes it very difficult to tell that these characters are totally different.
More to the point however, is that this book just plain Sucks.
The character development was non existent, this book could not have taken more than a weekend to come up with.
It is hard to follow, in fact the only reason that I listened to the end was that I kept thinking that "it has to get better".
I was Wrong.
It was 14 hours and 29 minutes of my life that could have been used for something more productive. such as finding a cure for Toe nail Fungus!
Wayne Stinnett, obviously you must really need the money to put out trash like this.

In the aftermath of an intense mission in coastal Mexico, Jesse wants nothing more than to get back to his boat; to just sail away and forget all about the firefight and his warrior past. The Caribbean sun is warm, the azure water inviting, he has the woman of his dreams at his side, and everything seems to be smooth sailing. Until a severed leg is found tangled in a line securing Jesse’s dinghy to his 61-foot sailing yacht, Salty Dog.

Well, every good thing has to come to an end...
Revisado: 04-27-20
This Used to be a good series, with characters that were interesting and entertaining storylines.
Lately Wayne Stinnett seems to be just pumping out books to meet some sort of quota.
At the beginning of this series, the main character Jesse McDermott, was a likable retired marine who
returned to his roots in the keys and began his civilian life rekindling old friendships while surviving some interesting adventures. As the series progressed, he evidently goes from as guy with a boat who likes to fish and scuba dive to becoming
some sort of super secret multifaceted agent/assassin. Give me e break!
And NO, just because he was a marine, does not give him all of the abilities that the author has endowed him with.
Finally, I am saddened to say that this will be the last book of the series that I read. What has gone from an enjoyable , entertaining series to the latest book with poor chatter development and weak endings is disappointing.

Revisado: 08-17-19
Well, I knew that someday the day would come where I would write a review of one of the worst books ever written.
Today is that day...
I have to admit, that whileI have enjoyed many of the previous books in this series, this will be my last.
It might as well have been written by a 6th grader, because there was NO plot that that I could find anywhere, except the
sophomoric description of the main character's predictable sex life.
There was really a poorly written story, Stuart Woods must really need the money that his publisher pays him to turn out this trash.
There is no intrigue, mystery or adventure in this book period. It was of those books where you read and think "well it's bound to get better", but it never does.
Absolutely Awful!

Meh... it's alright, not Christmas themed though.
Revisado: 10-08-18
This is a relatively predictable story, and there really is nothing wrong with it.
I mistakenly thought that this would have a Christmas theme, but it most definitely does not.
It's more of a typical feel good romance story, so if you can ignore realities of living in a remote village during an Alaskan winter, you might like the book. I though the narration was fine at times and awful at other times.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 05-30-18
I will say that the narrator did a good job, which is why I listened to the whole book.
This is one of those books where I found myself hoping that it would get better as it went along, unfortunately it didn't.
I suppose that if you're into "prepping" for some sort of Stalinist government takeover, then this would be the book for you.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Sorry I listened to this book. My last one in this series.
If you’ve listened to books by Ed Robinson before, how does this one compare?
Awful Russian accent. by narrator..absolutely terrible
Could you see Redeeming Breeze being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
NO
Any additional comments?
story was tolerable but not by much, narration almost ruined it.
