Historia
Anna Walsh had a dream life - according to everybody else. She lived in New York, had a long-term boyfriend, and had The Best Job In The World working as a highly successful beauty PR. So why did she decide to take a flamethrower to the lot? Because now she's back Dublin, living with her parents. She's undeniably forty-eight, with no partner, no job, and no direction. Anna's lost her purpose. She needs a new challenge to help her fall back in love with life again. When an opportunity arises to solve a PR crisis in the tiny town of Maumtully, Anna leaps at the chance.

BORING. Wish there was something that stood out but I can't think of anything right now, except boredom
Revisado: 09-04-24
This is by far the most boring book I've read. I wish I could return it. I have always been a MK fan. This was a disappointment. Not even the Irish humour was funny. What a pity. Can't listen any further.

Historia
The compelling, inspiring (often comic) coming-of-age story of Trevor Noah, set during the twilight of apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. One of the comedy world's brightest new voices, Trevor Noah is a light-footed but sharp-minded observer of the absurdities of politics, race and identity, sharing jokes and insights drawn from the wealth of experience acquired in his relatively young life.

Written for the American reader /listener
Revisado: 07-23-17
Being a South African, I feel that this story was written for an American audience. Not that it's good or bad, just feel that as a South African listening to it, some parts were just 'over explained'. I was a bit bored here and there, but the last bit was quite gripping, and I reiterate, I think it's for the American reader. That said, well done Trevor, for rising like the Sphinx.
