this one is not for me
Revisado: 04-16-25
I don't like the characters, and the 'American' accent I'd hard the listen to. I really like HY Hannah's other stories the the narrator does well. I fi d I'm not enjoying the story - first book I've not finished.

too many superfluous detail for me
Revisado: 07-23-20
The basic concept of the story is okay, I didn't feel as though the real meat of the story showed up until the last chapter. In the beginning I was a bit frustrated with all the minut descriptive words and found that it was too many minor details for me. Some people may enjoy all the tiny little details, I find them a hindrance in my ability to go forward with the story.

narrator's volume level was difficult
Revisado: 07-11-20
the story was very interesting, I liked the characters. I happen to really like Neal Dungeon, I enjoy listening to his voice. However, when he would speak softly I couldn't hear and I would have to turn the volume up. Then he would start speaking normal or a little louder and I'd have to turn it down. I was not able to easily listen to the story due to the fluctuation in the volume level. I found that frustrating. I just assumed that whoever produced the audiobook would have taken care of that issue prior to publishing.

Has potential, Not to my liking.
Revisado: 12-31-19
The storyline is interesting. I read a lot to escape my real life that is full of stress. I need to be able to believe that the characters are real - didn't happen. I found the interaction of the characters to be sappy and unrealistic.

I found the story to be well written, narrated very well, except for a few names of places that are pronounced differently by those of us who live local. I found d the storyline captivating and the quality of the narrators voice very pleasant which helped the story flow at a wonderful pace. Thank you to all who helped make this audio book possible.

The character stayed the same and did not change even with the new adventure. Tim Gerard Reynolds has given such color to those characters. He does an excellent job narrating fabulous characters. I patiently await the next story.

Characters unrealistic for me
Revisado: 01-31-17
The concept of the story is interesting and the initial introduction of the characters is well done. Unfortunately, the character of Luke is very hard for me to accept as credible. I have 12 years of personal experience working for a police dept, am married to a cop, my son is a cop and I still work directly with law enforcement personnel on a regular basis. Of all the cops I've worked with, am friends with and know through other people I've never met someone who acts or talks like Luke - that doesn't mean he doesn't exist, I just have not encountered him. I have a tendency to connect characters in books with people I know which helps them to become real for me - I can't do it with this story. I mean no offense by my comments, just sharing my lack of connection to the character. I wish you well with your continued writing.
