Not plausable in today's Times
Revisado: 10-16-16
This story should have been written about the fifties or perhaps sixties. it just makes no sense to me why in today's modern times an intelligent self-reliant woman would continue to go alone with this situation.
Poor character development also failed to explain why everyone acted the way they did. I was very disappointed and sorry I wasted my time.

Historia
Kim Miller is an immaculately put-together woman with a great career, a loving boyfriend, and a tidy apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. You would never guess that Kim grew up behind the closed doors of her family’s idyllic Long Island house, navigating between teetering stacks of aging newspapers, broken computers, and boxes upon boxes of unused junk festering in every room - the product of her father’s painful and unending struggle with hoarding. In this moving coming-of-age story, Kim brings to life her rat-infested home and her childhood consumed by concealing her father’s shameful secret from friends.

Good story but needs a different narrator.
Revisado: 12-15-14
What did you love best about Coming Clean?
The story was interesting. The author shares such awful and embarrassing things about her family growing up.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Coming Clean?
When she told about how she had to live in absolute trash and with rats. Her struggles keeping her secret with her friends etc.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Kimberly Rae Miller?
No. I loved the story but she is not a good narrater. She speaks too monotone and the story comes across boring and her tone was putting me to sleep.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I hated the narration.
Any additional comments?
I would listen to more stories by this author as long as she does not narrate.

True story. Ann rules best ever.
Revisado: 03-11-14
Where does Dead by Sunset rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Absolute best. I love true story's. Ann rule out did herself with this one. I listened to it twice it was so good.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dead by Sunset?
To see how intelligent women kept believing brads lies over and over again.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
There is a movie and I had to buy it. Of course too much to put in a movie. Must read full version of book first.
Any additional comments?
Ann rules best work ever. Long but necessary to see true character and evil actions of the husband.

Historia
In August of 1914, the British ship Endurance set sail for the South Atlantic. In October 1915, still half a continent away from its intended base, the ship was trapped, then crushed in the ice. For five months, Sir Ernest Shackleton and his men, drifting on ice packs, were castaways in one of the most savage regions of the world. Lansing describes how the men survived a 1,000-mile voyage in an open boat across the stormiest ocean on the globe and an overland trek through forbidding glaciers and mountains.

criticizing other trainers
Revisado: 03-11-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Dog owners who never administer negative corrections and only want to explore one point of view. I wanted her point of view but she is too narrow minded to realize there are always differences and neither has to be wrong.
Has 30 Days to a Well-Mannered Dog turned you off from other books in this genre?
I would not read more of her books.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from 30 Days to a Well-Mannered Dog?
Anytime she critiqued other trainers who she doesn't agree with.
Any additional comments?
I could not finish the book because she constantly mentioned about how other trainers were training wrong. She doesn't give names but to me I felt she was referring to Cesar millan. I agree with his methods but wanted to learn about a different approach, but it was too distracting because she keep talking about how other trainers did training wrong. I felt she was trying to justify her method like she was threatened by a different training method.
