First 3 hours are rough
Revisado: 08-21-22
I did not feel good listening to this. The first 3 hours were just a series WTFs by the protagonist. It left me with more questions then answers. I’m still trying to figure out who’s all involved. No one gets justice in the end.

Great story
Revisado: 07-24-22
I am in love with this story. This is how people behave. It’s kinda romantic, lots of mystery, and adventure. Narrator did well. The dates going back and forth was confusing if I wasn’t paying attention to the scene changes. I wish I could find a Tate in real life.

Evil
Revisado: 03-31-20
Omg, this woman is so evil. I’m sorry for her daughters. This person deserves to be used as a test subject for experiments. Those poor people she took advantage of. I’d really like to delve deeper into what kept them all there at her mercy.

Historia
An intense psychological thriller for fans of I Am Watching You, The Luckiest Girl Alive, and All the Missing Girls. Two missing girls. Thirteen years apart. Olivia Shaw has been missing since last Tuesday. She was last seen outside the entrance of her elementary school in Hunts Point wearing a white spring jacket, blue jeans, and pink boots. I force myself to look at the face in the photo, into her slightly smudged features, and I can't bring myself to move. Olivia Shaw could be my mirror image, rewound to 13 years ago.

A bit awkward lots of drug use and the ending didn’t do it for me.
Revisado: 07-01-18
So Lane was kiddnapped as a kid but got away. The daughter she had as a result of that is now missing. Great start! But the ending had nothing do do with the child’s disappearance. No one ever really get the Justice needed once the truth is recognized. Was the Author also telling is that Lane was a product of violence as well? The whole Lane Valerie (the protagonist mother) scene was a good plot point but it was vague on that issue and wasn’t volatile enough for me. To me every point or twist was a fantastic idea but I felt the author couldn’t utilize it well enough.

New Favorite Sires
Revisado: 05-05-18
I love the plot, a town with folks hiding out. Either you were a victim or a villain and there are NO heroes. The protagonist is an amazing character rules, justice, a brain, a heart, and her own daemon. I never tend to like the main character but I am all behind Casey Duncan/Butler. Eric is my favorite character by far though.
Took a bit to get into once she got to town. But the story develops nicely. A few good twists.

Missed the mark Mutants and Men
Revisado: 03-07-18
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
If I had a Freind that liked MM romances as much as me absolutely! Mutants and Men what’s not to love. If they read the first in the series, this is a good bridge to learn more of the other characters and open up the world of the enhanced.
Which scene was your favorite?
Elijah carrying off Beau ( the imprisoned blind child) after talon and sawyer rescue the child from his father. This child is blind and has the ability to burn things with electric current. He can’t touch anything living with out burning it. His father locked him up in a closet, starved him and told him he was possessed. The only person who can touch him is Elijah who burns with fire. Elijah doubts the good of the HERO team, and yet you see him not hesitate to take the child.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
X rated x-Men.....
Any additional comments?
First is better plot wise. The character development is much better in this one. It still gives you all the feels.
