Historia
Being an empath in a tough World can be very challenging at times. Often your greatest gift is seen as a weakness, and your natural essence can make you feel vulnerable. It's important to realize that this gift is one that you should feel proud of. It's good to be a caring and sensitive person who has concerns about other people's feelings. The trick is knowing how and when to use this gift and when to set healthy boundaries. Unfortunately, we live in a World where the energy vampires and narcissists lurk and the empath, if you're not careful, can often be the victim.

What a gem!
Revisado: 05-19-19
I've read several books since learning more about being an Empath and this one, I have to say, is truly a gem!
If you are an Empath this book is for you. The author touched me in such a beautiful way when listening to her words. I really felt as if I was listening to someone who understands me on a personal level. I've been looking for ways to center myself and really discover who I am, creating you boundaries and tapping into my inner peace, this book made so much sense to me. There is so much good information in this book. Thank you! Thank you!

Very informative and interesting book!
Revisado: 05-17-19
Comprehensive explanation and advice for manipulative and dangerous personality types. I definitely found ways that I can apply this information to protect myself and set boundaries going forward. I think the book would be helpful for anyone in order to obtain knowledge about these types but especially those who have the "feeling" someone may be dangerous or manipulative in there life, this book WILL provide the insight you need. Thank you.
Also, narrator had good voice and great pace! Easy to listen to! Couldn't put it down until it was complete.

Historia
I almost didn't publish Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. I was terrified. Here I was, a CEO who'd fallen apart after his company failed, writing a book about how loving himself saved him. I thought I'd be a laughing stock and my career would be finished. But I stepped through the fears and shared my truth with the world. What happened next changed my life. The book went viral. Amazing people all over shared it online and on social media. They bought copies for friends and family. They wrote heartfelt reviews. For some, this book literally saved their lives.

I've listened to the Husbands Secret and Big Little Lies and liked them both but this one missed the mark for me. It was like listening to someone read their diary. Just left me wanting more. Never really hooked me.

Grabs interest right away

This one grabbed my interest right away, the plot wasn't overly complicated but left me wanting more. I was excited to get to the next chapter and find out what was going to happen next. There was enough suspense to keep me consistently interested and the ending didn't disappoint.

Just ok - didn't thrill me
Revisado: 06-22-17
Book started out slow with the back story of the characters. Characters themselves weren't particularly interesting. I found myself wanting the story to pick and hoping that the next chapter would be more interesting but when I reached the end I felt a bit let down.
