Holy hotness!! Let's jump toward the end of this one for a second so I can tell you that there is a giant sexy free for all in this book. I'm talking the Hot Rods AND The Powertools Crew all in one place. Now they don't all play together together but they are all in one place getting it on. These are my favorite parts of these books because I love trying to catch a mistake. There are so many moving parts (ha) in these big group scenes, but I've yet to catch a mistake yet from Jayne. Ok back to the beginning. I was excited about this one because we get a new comer to the group. The first two books in the series have only involved original Hot Rods members. And to be honest there are so many of them that it's a good thing we got to books to get to know them a little better. Sometimes listening to the books is a bit confusing because each of the guys is mentioned by their real names and their nicknames. The switches actually feel really natural, they just made me a little dizzy from time to time. Nola was a great addition to the team. She has all the sass necessary to keep Kaige reigned in and make him happy. These two were perfect for each other. There first meeting is full of attitude from Kaige, but even then he knew she was something special. They have some amazingly sexy moments on their own and then with the rest of the Hot Rods. I enjoyed the email exchanges between them too. They shared a lot of keyboard action before they moved to touching! I'm so looking forward to continuing my way through this series. Rebel is coming up next and it certainly sounds like it is going to be a doozy!

After finishing King Cobra I couldn't wait to get my hands (um ears) on this book!! I was dying to hear what happened with Sally. You won't be surprised to discover that there is lots of sex. lol But there was also emotional growing for not only Sally, Eli, and Alanso but also for the whole group. We get our first taste of the whole crew together and it is both complicated and hot. ;) I always listen (or read) really closely when there are so many people in one sex scene. I'm so mean I try to find mistakes. lmao I didn't find any in this book, but I'll be listening closely in the next book-it is only fair for me to add that I have read several of Jayne's books that include mass orgies and I haven't noticed a mistake yet. I am really enjoying this series and we even get some visits with the original crew. I love getting to visit with old characters and see how they are doing. I can't wait to read the next one and see where the Hot Rods take me.

Submissive's Wish, Book 1

Let's start with the narrator-whew his accent is sexy!! I did have to listen a little more closely at first to understand him at times, but I quickly got used to it and was fine from that point on. I did notice a few times when I believe he said wrong words-I saw this because the sentence didn't make sense so I'm assuming since I didn't have the book right in front of me while listening. Holy crap this book is freaking hot! Heed the warning above my kittens! This book is full of seriously sexy BDSM scenes and one hell of a head fuck! You know I’m not one for ruining surprises so I won’t say more than that about that subject. Ivan is all about pushing Gia’s limits. He takes her to places she’s never even imagined were possible and in turn she gives him everything she has. Ivan rides the line between insanely sexy and dangerous. There are some pretty strong scenes in this one so make sure you are prepared to read some heavy stuff along with the lighter side of things. There is even some knife play which always peeks my interest. It’s not all BDSM though. There is plenty of romance happening too. This book will give you a little bit of action, plenty of passion, and a love story as well. Another amazing read by Ann Mayburn, I can’t wait to see what she brings next!

Hot Rods, Book 1

Until this point the audio books of Jayne's that I've been listening to are books that I've already read, but I hadn't gotten around to the Hot Rods series yet so I'm very excited to listen to them now. I have this thing about reading blurbs and I generally don't bother when the books are from my go to authors so I didn't know much about this book going in other than it was loosely related to the Powertools Crew. I knew from the Powertools series that the shop was looking for something similar to the crews relationship but I wasn't sure what it was going to be. This one starts us off with Eli and Alanso. Eli is fighting with everything he has and Alanso is tired of hoping for more. After some seriously hot stranger sex in the park (seriously folks it happens lol) Eli comes to his senses and admits his feelings to Alanso. They do something I really don't like, but in the end they don't enjoy it so that helped a little, and leads us to the cliffhanger. Ok cliffhanger may not be the best word for it, but it does leave us hanging a bit. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Alanso and Eli unfold. It's clear there has been sexual tension between the two for a while now, but Eli was so worried about keeping his family together that he almost tore it apart. Once Eli lets go of his fears the relationship between these two is the perfect combination of hot and sweet. I'm going to have a hard time waiting for Mustang Sally to release in audio so I can find out what happens next. My heart is hurting for her right now and I want her to find some happiness.

Powertools Book 6

First things first-read the other books in the series before you read this one! If you read this book without reading the first ones in the series you may thing it's all about the sex, but it's really all about the love between the crew. Nailed To The Wall carried a bit of a sad note at the end, but everything works out for Joe and Morgan in this one. Jayne loves to make us cry though so you likely won't get through this story without some tears, but they are well worth it. Things get rough for the crew about midway through but don't worry. Jayne wouldn't dare leave us without things being ok in the end. She also gives a great intro to the Hot Rods crew. I'm looking forward to checking out the Hot Rod books next. As always Gregory does a great job with the narration. I'm sure it was crazy hard to do over 9 different voices, but he managed to do it. And shout out to that sexy cover!! Yummy!!

Powertools Book 5

The Powertools Series was the first thing I read from Jayne Rylon way back when I started reading again. What a way to dive into the dirty book arena! This series is full of every kind of position and combination you can imagine! As always Gregory Salinas is wonderful to listen to. We are entering the colder months here in the US and his voice added to Jayne's words will definitely heat you up! Now that all the couples are together we get to see how their relationships are progressing. To get a real feel for everyone you really need to read the first four in the series. Sadly the first four aren't narrated by Greg but they are available in audio if you prefer to listen rather than read. The ladies lead the pack in this book starting with a sexy boudoir photo shoot for their men full of that's what he/she said jokes. And then the sexin starts. There are lots of sex scenes in this one. We've already read about all the relationships so now it's time for the crew to work on the group dynamics. I love series books and it's always hard for me to let go of the characters once they've found their match (or matches in some cases) so this was a great chance to visit the crew again. I can't wait to listen to the next in the series and wrap up an emotional chapter in the crews lives.

Dare to Desire Book 2

I am so loving the fact that I got this series for review! Alex is a pretty big douche bag at first. He's a star quarterback and living the lifestyle of a partying bachelor. That all ends when he is injured during a game and has to give up football. Madison knows he is no good for her, but that doesn't stop her from wanting him. Now they are working together and fighting the attraction becomes harder and harder. I was really interested in the program they were trying to build. I found myself thinking about Ian and Riley a lot throughout this one as well. They pop up a few times and I enjoyed the look back. Overall I enjoyed the story and I was pulled in enough to want a happy ending for these two. I am looking forward to more in the series. I have a hard core addiction to series books and there are a lot of family members that need a story in this one!

Dare To Love Book 1

Don't think less of me but this was my first Carly Phillips book and I am so glad I to popped my cherry! I can also confirm that it will definitely not be my last. I generally only listen to audio books while I am at work or while commuting to and from work, but I couldn't stop listening to this one. Once I started it I couldn't stop. I love stories involving large families because that usually means lots more to come in the series and we all know I'm a series whore. Ian stormed his way into Riley's life and all but forced her to go on dinner dates with him, but he managed to stay pretty likable throughout that whole process. Being such a dominant man is was really no surprise that he made an ass of himself a few times and came dangerously close to losing Riley, but it was her insecurities that wound up coming between them. While in the end I warmed up to Riley she annoyed me there for a bit. Her past left her just as untrusting as Ian was but she seemed to have a much harder time moving forward. In the end they of course wind up happy, but it was definitely not a smooth path for the two of them. I'm excited to read more in this series. Alex's story is next but I hope Olivia's is soon! I'm dying to hear more about what's going on with her and Dylan.

Men In Blue, Book 1

I read this eBook a few years ago close to the release date. I already know I love this series, but I knew listening to Gregory Salinas read it to me would make it even better! As always that man makes everything sound so damn sexy! I love going back through a book I've already read before. I always find new reasons to love the book. It starts off so freaking sad. I cried for the first bit, but the sexy stuff comes soon enough and it's quickly followed by action and drama. Mason and his crazy stubbornness just about killed me. I found myself wanting to both jump him and ring his neck constantly throughout the book. There are lots of twists and turns going on in this book. While I did remember who was behind all the craziness and bad things that happened the story was compelling enough to suck me in all over again. I can't wait to listen to the audio versions of the rest in this series!

Soul Justice, Book 1

I love Kate Pearce. The world building in this book was amazing! I love the cross between the “normal” world and the Otherworld. With the market so saturated with contemporary and BDSM books, I tend to forget just how much I love paranormal. I bought this as an eBook and then got the Audiobook so I could start listening at work and once I did I couldn’t stop until I finished. I couldn’t read it fast enough and I hated when I had to focus on work or do silly things like sleep! There was a lot going on in this book and at times I felt like there was a book before this one that I might have missed but that is not the case. There are also some times where things were left unresolved, but overall I really enjoyed this one. Ella and Vadim have some awesome banter and while there is some heavy stuff happening and there are several sad moments Mrs. Pearce was able to keep the pace going and keep us guessing as to what will happen next. Ella was just spunky enough to make you both love and hate her all at once and Vadim sounds like sex on a stick and he has plenty of sarcasm to keep Ella on her toes. I was sad to see the ending of this one was a bit of a cliffhanger but thankfully I was prepared with the second book in the series (Death Bringer). I really hope Mrs. Pearce is going to write more in this series. I will grab them up and devour them without question! Also as a side note: While Mrs. Pearce has this series listed as non-erotic romance on her website don’t worry there is plenty of steamy sex between these two-enough to make me wonder what she requires in a book to be called erotic!
