why is it that so many women think they can write about men's thoughts about sex and about man-on-man sex? and HELLO, NO male, gay or str8, would ever refer to his 'length'

Engaging but...

This is a good read, even if a little long-winded and convoluted. But you'll have to be able to get past some glaring issues. 1) the fandom/paparazzi story line is just too extreme to be plausible. 2) the MCs are just not old enough to be this mature and experienced. Maximoff especially, a college dropout and only 22, could never have the heft or contacts to be running a huuuge charity foundation. Certainly not with that family history.

3) No gay man, especially these ruff and tumble types, is ever EVER EV E R going to refer to his cock, his dick, as his "length". That's too delicate, too feminine, too often repeated. It just ruins the book for me. So much so that I've begun to avoid reading all-male erotica written by female authors.

Excellent read, well acted. Interesting story line too. But the romance is too scmaltzy for a story about men. for my tastes. But if you like your romance cloying, this should be high on your list.

Couldn't even finish first chapter.

I lived this life in NYC from Stonewall thru the 70s and 80s. I've always thought I should write a book. Now I know I should not. Alan Cumming is witty and entertaining but not not exactly charming. Stories like these are maybe fun occasionally with party friends but not in the sober light of day. I keep wondering 'What's the point? Where's he going with all this drivel?' Nowhere.

Sometimes it seems slow. But it's riveting. The inner dialogue of the two main characters is stream-of-thought and wonderfully handled. 'Call Me by Your Name' good without the angst.

All but ruined by terrible narration

These stories are quite wonderful, fun, sexy, inventive and well-written.

The narrator, however, could hardly be worse. Wooden, halting and without an ounce of acting ability. Passages were frequently repeated, sounding like a skip-back in the recording. Fairly common words blithely mispronounced, like saying "aiding" instead of "adding". He sounded like a third-grade student struggling with a book report.

Think I'll for this author on Kindle!

Narration was beyond good. The sex was not overly salacious. Maybe it could have been shorter. Bit then, that might have hurt a quite wonderful read. Recommended.

It's a "Cute Hot"

This is a cute story, titillating but not scorching torrid "it's-made-me-so-horny-I-gotta-take-a-break". Rather maddening that he keeps referring to his "penis" instead of "cock" or "dick" or something else less clinical. (Well, he is a medical doctor!).

The narrator didn't help with his less than professional actor reading. That's fairly expected in this genre and I've listened to far worse.

The cuckold angle is an interesting twist. And without the degradation and humiliation that is usually the theme.

I'm sorry this didn't go on for several more chapters, many many more, to follow them with more encounters as they explore further beyond their boundaries.

I'm already a Plus member and for these short stories, I wish Audible had premium program like Kindle Unlimited for free loaners. And when Audible has a 2 for 1 sale it doesn't include the use of credits.

Cute stories but....

The stories are cute with some hot edges and I enjoyed them. However, the narrator, while his voice is very pleasant, clear and ready to understand, reads in static short phrases, each exactly the same. Sometimes those phrases are part of the same thought and need to be strung togethery to be more than a mechanical reading. He also has an annoying habit of flipping into a kind of baby face plantive voice. Unfortunately it's usually when a much more masculine or assertive voice is needed.

This may be about the audio editing as I've noticed it in many of Audible's collected stories. A new story (chapter, scene) starts as though in mid paragraph from the previous story or book. Printed books and short stories usually have extra space, a full-width line, a single graphic or some kind of device to indicate a break in the narrative, the location or lapse of time. This is a serious problem that is consistent across all their material. It's like they've been told to assume that listeners are following along in a print version. They don't even read-in the names of the new stories or authors -- how stupid if that?! .

Don't just pass by this one, RUN

Shallow writing that leaves no adjective unabused in on over-wrought narrative style that is florid, gushy and entirely feminine in relating what are essentially stories from the males' perspective. Any hope of a hot and horny turn-on is lost under a heavy layer of heavily-perfumed room deodorizer.

Worse, the narration is about the worst I've ever encountered on Audible. She's like a giggly housewife gossiping with the girls. Sing-song delivery with a noxious habit of reading all male parts in a cartoonish deep gravely voice that ruins the entire endeavor.
