Really well written and captivating! I loved being able to compare the different times in history and the beginnings of those wars. I loved the audio narrator!

The American Gauntlet competition was exciting and thrilling and kept me wanting to keep listening. I liked the narrator and that she did an Australian accent for our favorite Aussie competitor.

The characters were so well done and lovable and I was rooting for them the whole time. I loved the romance and how things played out in the plot.

“Woah. Henry Hill is YOKED. He’s also not wearing his glasses, and while I experience no Clark Kent/Superman confusion, this is definitely a different look. I do not want to live with the knowledge that under his stuffy V-necks and khakis, my nerdy neighbor is a snack.”

I absolutely loved this book! It was slow burn, grumpy/sunshine perfection!

I really love Melanie Jacobson’s writing. She writes really lovable characters with a lot of depth. She has a great way of writing tender moments that make you tear up and clever lines that make you laugh.

Henry was a grumpy professor with the driest humor and I absolutely loved him. It was so fun to see the little neighbor girl, Evie, break through his defenses and grow his Grinch heart.

I loved all the “domestic” moments they spent in each other’s homes. It felt natural and relatable because they are next door neighbors.

I loved revisiting characters from last year’s Christmas novel and others from the Creekville Kisses series. This book is great as a stand-alone but if you read “Kiss the Girl” first, you can get an introduction to Paige and Evie.

Loved it!!! I love love triangles and this book had the right amount of angst and jealousy, without going over the top or making you grieve about her picking the “wrong” guy. I was drawn in by the synopsis and so excited to see how it would all play out. I thought it was done very well and was absolutely entertaining the whole time!

I love Kortney Keisel’s writing style. It’s funny and fresh and makes you want to eat it all up. I could tell this book was what the author wanted to write because she leaned into those things that I wanted to see and it was amazing! It was definitely the book I wanted to read!!

There was SKIING!!!! I mean, the book takes place in Telluride so it better! But I was so glad skiing was highlighted a bit in a couple scenes! I’m a big skier so this was an awesome addition for me.

I loved the ending and her family shenanigans. It really gave me the “While You Were Sleeping” vibes, which were so fun!

I loved Caleb and was so glad we got his point of view too! I loved seeing Summer through his eyes!

I was very impressed with each of these novellas and was surprised by how invested I was in each story and how much they made me feel.

Nichole Van’s Remnants of Love was a second chance done beautifully that addresses heavy subjects in a mindful way. A lot happens in such a short story and you could feel the longing and love that had remained with them through the years. It was so good!

Heidi Kimball’s Of Kilts and Courtship was very funny with so much and teasing and playful banter. Gavin Mckenzie is such a delight and I LOVED listening to his Scottish accent and the way he leaned into the things in his culture that others scoffed at was highly entertaining. The romance was spot on and amazing!

Michele Holmes’ Into the Light had me super intrigued and hooked from the beginning and kept me invested throughout the story. The plot is unique and heartfelt as a wounded warrior is navigating some new disabilities. The story flowed nicely and was one I will remember for a long time!

The narrator did wonderful Scottish accents for the appropriate dialogue that helped me feel immersed in the stories.

Excuse me while I sit over here still SWOONING over FELIX JAMISON! Talk about book boyfriend material. This guy is amazing!!! Not only is he a super attractive, quietly confident hockey goalie, but he also listens to classical music, loves to read, and is extremely thoughtful. He is the BEST, I love him!

Gracie is a perfect match for him and I love when she sees the incredible man Felix really is. The natural progression of their relationship feels so authentic and sweet. Nobody is too much in their head, but they just live and feel and we get to go on their beautiful journey with them. Their communication felt so healthy and realistic and I really appreciate how it was all portrayed.

I couldn’t stop smiling and I just felt so happy the entire book! Jenny Proctor’s writing is always full of humor and sizzling chemistry and Felix and Gracie had it in SPADES!!

I loved their text conversations, the hockey moments, flirting, the forced proximity, their apologies, the ending…all of it! Every single moment was perfection!

This final installment of the Sweater Weather series absolutely DELIVERED! The audio was a reread for me and I loved it all over again. I really enjoyed the narrators.

I loved my reread via audio!! The narrators were great and brought the story to life in such a fun way. I absolutely adore the “You’ve Got Mail” & mistaken identity aspects in the plot. Isaac and Rosie have the best chemistry and the cutest witty conversations. Now I must see their road trip video!! Highly recommend!! This book has everything I love about Jenny Proctor’s books!

This book was everything I love about Melanie Jacobson books! I read it when it was first released and just finished a reread via audio and loved it all over again! The narrators were AMAZING and brought the perfect vibes for the characters. I only wish we could have some of Sami’s songs recorded in the audio! 😉

This book is a favorite for sure! The dialogue was on point! It was so punchy and fun and made me just adore Sami and Josh together.

❤️Things I loved:

🎤Rock Goddess Sami
🔥Hot new neighbor Josh
🌙Late-night balcony chats
😂Clever Banter
🙌🏻Fake girlfriend dates
💕Lovable roommates
🎸Rock Concerts

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it! I will be smiling, thinking about this book for a long time!

This is a beautiful, sweet Christmas road trip story with humor and romance seamlessly balanced with deeper themes and life lessons full of heart.

I wanted to reread this before jumping into A Cross-Country Wedding and I loved it all over again! I grabbed it on audible even though I own the paperback, so I could get in more solid Christmas audiobooks I knew I’d love to get me through this busy season.

I love the forced proximity of the two of them being stuck in a car for days together! It was going to take a lot of hours to wear down Lauren and soften her toward Will. I love when she opens up and communicates her hurts to him and lets him understand her.

There are so many sweet moments and I wouldn’t be opposed to reading this in the off-season if you don’t get to it this week! The Christmas themes are a side story to the road trip adventure.

I loved the audio and both narrators did a fantastic job! Highly recommend any format of consuming this wonderful story!
