Amazing work yet again.

Andrew Rowe is a talent like none other. I am absolutely hooked on everything he puts out. This series and the 2 series it related to, Weapons and Wielders and War of Broken Mirrors has built a world that I never want to end. Each character is multi faceted and intriguing. Everything is connected and builds up on itself in ways I cannot get enough of. Everyone needs to experience these books.

Different take on MC

Lucas is an amazing MC seeing his growth from dealing with devastatng loss, to channeling that into something productive (even if it's a video game, he got stuff done)
Side characters provide good back and forth. and I like the different take on a main character. Narration is great on this. Highly recommend.

Fantastic follow up to an amazing series

Robert W. Ross proves once again that he is an amazing writer. his author's notes at the end of his books prove this if you didn't get it from the book itself.
The depth of character, the building of an entire universe of allies and goes for the crew of the Bladerunner, everything he touches is gold. I find myself abandoning books half way through when something he writes comes out.
Buy all his stuff. he has one of the best narrator's for them. You will not be disappointed.
Side note. He isn't lying about reaching out to him. I had a lengthy Convo with him before and he seems like a genuinely amazing individual. Keep up the great writing!

As far as I'm concerned, everything that Robert W. Ross writes, is gold. I've thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and this book does not fail to live up to the rest. All the references are great. World building is top notch. Keep up the great work!

The back and forth story telling from both sides of the story was a bit different than previous books, but I've listened 3 times and it keeps getting better. Series overall is full of great Easter eggs and cameos that are blink and you will miss them. Can't wait for the next book!

Nick Podehl is great, as is to be expected. The source material leads to great moments throughout. Characters returning in unexpected ways, but in re-listens, I'm amazed I didn't hear it coming. Foreshadowing books in advance and paying off so well.
