A great voice and a superb human being (with family and friends)
Revisado: 04-29-22
Larry King himself goes through his life with its ups and downs. He fills the whole story with depth, emotion and humor. But perhaps the best of everything is having the voices of his friends, his family, even his sons.
Unforgettable audiobook. I will listen it again, and surely again and again.

Historia
Rock and roll in the BC (Before Cooper) era was a tamer, milder world. In Who I Really Am, Cooper’s latest addition to Audible’s Words + Music series, we learn how the boa-wearing (not the feathered kind) maestro arrived at a show and sound - let’s call it AC for After Cooper - that has entertained millions of kids while terrifying parents in equal measure. Cooper drew inspiration from Saturday matinee horror movies, applied a "no such thing as too much" attitude, and hitched it to a kick-ass rock and roll band.

Alice Cooper at his best
Revisado: 11-23-21
I wish it was a little bit longer. But anyway, it’s genuine Alice Cooper filled with anecdotes, high moments, low moments and great music. So fun…

Historia
From respected journalist, professor, and founder of the Writer's Symposium by the Sea, an audiobook that demystifies the art and science of interviewing, in the vein of On Writing Well or How to Read Literature like a Professor. Nelson walks listeners through each step of the journey from deciding whom to interview and structuring questions, to the nitty-gritty of how to use a recording device and effective note-taking strategies, to the ethical dilemmas of interviewing people you love (and loathe).

Touching, insightful, marvellous
Revisado: 10-01-21
1) The narrator is amazing. Changing (not mimicking) voices and underlining moments.
2) Dean Nelson offers his own experience with a sense of purpose and understanding that’s not only enjoyable but also profoundly coherent.
3) Besides, it’s practical. I’ve done over 1000 interviews and until now haven’t listened such a comprehensive and useful approach to interviewing as his.
Unforgettable book.

Historia

Bravo, bravo.
