I liked the narrator, but not this performance!

I actually liked this book and the storyline...it reminded me of a lifetime movie. The story was good, but very predictable. The only thing I didn't like was the narrator's performance of this story. I did like the narrator, but I was getting lost between characters....if the narrator would have changed her voice some so I could tell the difference between the characters. Each chapter started with a name, which was fine at first, then it got to where I couldn't tell which character was being talked about....I was fine until I got to around chapter 24.

A truly wonderful story!

I loved this book! the storyline was incredible! It made me think of such wonderful memories I had so long ago! I honestly believe this is Darryl Banner at his best! The narrator did an awesome job! Kudos to Darryl for writing this book!

This book was incredible! From the first chapter, I was hooked! Yes, Billy was a hired killer, but he had a heart. he really was a good guy. the narrator of this book did a wonderful job of bringing this story to life. I don't want to say too much, as I don't want to ruin this for anyone! You really have to get this book! I loved it!

This is pure Joan Crawford!!!!!

I love this book!!! Mostly for the fact that I can hear Joan Crawford's voice! It takes me back to my childhood, when we lived in the same building. She really was a very wonderful lady!!!!! You have to listen to this book....it will take you back !

Bellevue is very interesting!

For someone like me who loves history, this book was awesome! I learned so much about Bellevue that I was not aware of. This audiobook is almost 15 hours long, but it really was a fast read. I listened to it on my way to and from work each day. If you are into history, you really owe it to yourself to read this one! The narrator was excellant and the book was well put together!

kept my attention every bit of the way!

I really enjoyed this book! It kind of reminded me of an old movie "10 Little Indians". There were no slow parts and it made me want to keep listening, so I could see what was coming next! The narrator's voice was perfect as the English butler.
you must listen to this book, especially if you are a fan of old who submit movies or Agatha Christie.
