I have read The Infernal Devices three times, and now I've listened to the audio. Needless to say, I love these books. Tessa, Jem and Will are three of my favorite characters ever. Jem is absolutely wonderful and such an amazing character. I cry every time I read this book for there are several sad parts near the end. I have to say this book has the best epilogue I've ever read of any book series. I am not a Will hater I actually love him bunches, but Team Jem all the way!

Great start to an EPIC trilogy

I'm actually not a huge fan of The Mortal Instruments. I find them good, but not my favorite. However The Infernal Devices I absolutely love. I fell in love with Tessa, Jem and Will. This book is really good, but it's the next 2 that really make it awesome. And it does tie into TMI in a really cool way.

First off, I love Cora Carmack's books. This one has everything. Good plot. Epic love story. Supernatural backdrop. Be warned, there is a massive cliffhanger...but it's an awesome one.
The narrator does a good job.
and Wilder? OMG. He is perfect. One of my favorite book boyfriends ever. His love for Calliope is truly heart melting. He never gives up on her, not once, and I absolutely love that about him.
The next book Inflict should be out soon and I've been anxiously awaiting it for so long.
I recommend this to anyone who loves a compelling romance with a side of Greek mythology.

The Imdalind series is one of the best series I've ever read. This book #1 is a great start but don't judge the series yet based on this first book. It does start a bit slow but picks up about halfway through. So much happens in the later books that this series becomes an epic masterpiece.
Kiss of fire sets up everything. We meet Jocelyn and we meet Ryland her best friend who she secretly loves.
I don't want to spoil anything but I will say things start to get really good when the sexy Ilyan shows up. Move over Ryland, you don't hold a candle to Ilyan.
Each book in the series gets better and better. I urge you to keep reading them. Eyes of Ember is even better and I absolutely adore Scorched Treachery and Soul of Flame.
Slight spoilers...
The epic love story of Jocelyn and Ilyan is one of my favorites and I read a lot of books and ship a lot of couples. Ilyan is one of my favorite book boyfriends of all time. You'll see more in the later books how selfless he is. A true hero and perfect match for Jocelyn.
Awesome series. I can't recommend it enough!

Read or listen to this trilogy, it is so good. I read A lot of books from many genres. This is probably my favorite dystopian because the character interactions and romance exceeded my expectations. Great narration, and Warner...omg. LOVE him.
