Historia
A soldier, former member of Congress, and a presidential candidate, Tulsi loves her country: "I answered the call of duty and took an oath, dedicating my life to supporting and defending those freedoms, both in uniform and in public office. I became a Democrat when I ran for office because I saw them as a party that stood up for the little guy and against the interests of big business and warmongers. I remained a Democrat for twenty years, albeit with an independent streak." Today that party is unrecognizable.

Historia
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.

This version's narrator needs a lot of work
Revisado: 12-20-17
What didn’t you like about Sarah Genner’s performance?
The narrator tells the whole story in the same voice for each person. Given that the book doesn't say who is saying what in many places, it is very hard to tell who is talking because of the reading. I'd advise on buying a different version! I tried to return the book and get a different narrator but Audible wouldn't let me.

Any additional comments?
I had searched far and wide for a book which would help motivate me with my business and offer me skills I was lacking. This book is so full of solutions! I rushed to write down every drop of advice with extensive notes,. So much of this resonates completely with me. About 10% of the book is examples for easier understanding. About 40% of it is informative teaching, with the last 50% full of ways you can turn your life and business around in a positive manner. Excellent book! I plan to hold it as my business mantra and recommend it to anyone who even thinks about a business. Thank you Steve and Rebecca!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Luke Smitherd did a fantastic job reading this book! He nailed the freaked out parts and the pure insanity were spot on! So enjoyable! Don't bother hiring anyone else, Luke, you're on top of it.
There was a point where I felt like I wanted to stop reading because I couldn't get a grip on everything the book was saying and wasn't sure I wanted to! However, I'm so glad I finished it because it's like nothing else I've read and like letting your mind tumble around in the washing machine with new ideas bouncing into you all over the place! You're left thinking the plots through all day long.
If I had to choose something I liked best, it was that, try as hard as I could, I could barely ever figure out where the author was taking us! I'd have an idea, then I'd be wrong. Then I'd make some small connections - thinking I could guess what was coming - then bam!! - he'd take us somewhere entirely unexpected! Such a heart-pounding thrill.
I'll certainly be recommending this book - to the right sort of people ;) - and discussing it with my bookclub once we've all finished reading it.
Thanks Luke!

Historia
Trust. Betrayal. Revenge. The Count of Monte Cristo is the quintessential masterpiece of Alexandre Dumas. In Edmond Dantes we find an early materialization of the modern superhero. He is a dashing young sailor imprisoned unjustly for treason. While in prison he meets a holy man who imparts to him all his wisdom. The "abbe" also divulges the profound secret of a hidden treasure. Dantes realizes that with such immense wealth, one could wreak a hateful vengeance on one's enemies.
