Historia
Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian, has finally run out of luck. Caught in one feud too many, he's on the verge of becoming a dead barbarian - leaving nothing behind him but bad songs, dead friends, and a lot of happy enemies. Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. But war is brewing, and on the battlefields of the frozen North they fight by altogether bloodier rules.

colorful characters satisfying story.
Revisado: 03-24-24
It's long but not in a bad way. The story keeps pulling the ear back to it. compelling story telling with a lot of very descriptive players. Abercrombie is a master in creating a vision of the world he's created. top notch.

I'm a sailor and I get Marine jargon as much as Navy, so in a weird but oddly familiar way this series reminds me of the past. it's a little like being deployed, minus the aliens and obvious tech. a good series. seems like the Russians will never be the good guys. Fiction as in life...
