What made the experience of listening to Jax the most enjoyable?

I found this audio book enjoyable because of the plot and characters. The author has done a great job in bringing these characters story to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jax?

The scene with Jax and Katrina in his office! Oh boy! Kym wrote a hot and steamy scene. I also laughed at Finn and Jake's reaaction.

What does Ryan West bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ryan's voice is pleasant to listen to. He has a calming tone that is steady throughout the whole book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

In the first chapter where Jax sees Katrina again. His alpha instincts kick in and he wants to protect her.

JAX is the seventh installment of the Immortals of New Orleans series by Kym Grosso. In this book we finally get to Jax’s and Katrina’s story. Jax Chandler is an alpha male through and through. He oozes sex appeal, charisma and power. Katrina Livingston is someone special. Being the daughter and sister of alpha men, she has alpha blood running through her veins. This has made her vulnerable to a demonic entity that is slowly draining her magic. Follow along as Jax and Katrina look for answers on how to destroy the evil that is after them, and come to terms with their feelings for one another.

Kym Grosso has delivered another stellar book in this captivating series. The characters are likeable, her descriptions of the characters and their surroundings takes the reader to that specific moment. What I enjoyed about this book is that Jax’s and Katrina’s characters come full circle. It was also nice to see characters from previous books and of course the introduction of some new personalities. I am looking forward to many more books in this enthralling series.

Would you listen to Solstice Burn again? Why?

Yes! The plot is interesting and the characters are engaging.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Penny was intelligent, had a career, and was willing to take risks. This is not your typical heroine.

What does Ryan West bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ryan West's voice is steady throughout the whole book. His voice gives characters depth and substance.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene where Chase went out of his way to get Penny to move to California. The exchange between Chase and Evan using Garrett's office. This made me chuckle.

Solstice Burn is a sexy novella by Kym Grosso. This is the story of Penny, a lawyer from New York and Chase, a biologist from California. Penny and Chase meet while she was vacationing in an adult only resort and he was on an assignment collecting specimens. Their first meeting occurs when she is snorkeling and he comes to her rescue. That one encounter was enough for Chase, and he just had to see his “mermaid” again. Penny, who is normally not the adventurous type, is now looking at life with a new outlook. But can two different people make things work, once the vacation is over?

This novella is the introduction to Kym Grosso’s new series, Club Altura Romance Series. Once again the author creates characters that draw the readers in and a plot that leaves the readers wanting more. I am looking forward to reading her new series!

Would you listen to Carnal Risk again? Why?

Yes, I would listen to this book again. Kym Grosso has written a book that has adventure, pleasure and mystery. This is a full length erotic suspense novel with a HEA. There are elements of suspense, danger, and deception. Not to mention some very steamy and passionate scenes!

What other book might you compare Carnal Risk to and why?

I would compare Carnal Risk to other books written by Kym Grosso. Kym's books have strong male characters and women who are just as protective of their partners. The plots are solid and move the characters along, creating pleasant flow for the reader.

Which scene was your favorite?

One of my favorite scenes happened at the beginning. The scene were Selby was during her burlesque routine. I loved Garrett's reaction to her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene in the barn and the pool. Kym Grosso has a talent for writing steamy love scenes!

Any additional comments?

Carnal Risk is Kym’s first book in the Contemporary genre and let me tell you, she did not disappoint! The characters are charismatic and likeable. The plot is well thought-out and written. She describes her characters and locations so well; you can actually visualize them. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the next installment.

What did you love best about Falling Into Place?

I loved the chemistry between Tremaine, Liz, and Robert. These characters have an undeniable connection that brings their story to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Falling Into Place?

The shower scene with Robert, Tremaine, and Liz! The author does a great job in bringing these three broken souls together.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narrator's pace was consistent, even and it had a nice flow.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was caught up in Liz's story. Her horrible past made her a strong individual even thought it took her some time to realize it.

Brandy L Rivers does a excellent job in bring the story of Liz, Tremaine and Robert to life. The compassion and love shown between these three characters captivates the readers from the get go. I do recommend not only this book but the entire series.

Would you listen to Lost Embrace again? Why?

Yes, without a doubt! Kym Grosso is a superb author and Ryan West does a phenomenal job in narrating.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Kade. I loved that he is an alpha male but at the same time he is caring and loving towards Sydney.

What about Ryan West’s performance did you like?

I have heard numerous audio books from performed by Ryan West. And each time he deliveries a consistent and steady narrative.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! The story drew me in and held my attention the whole time. Ryan's voice has a nice flow that captivates the readers attention.

Oh my goodness!!! I have been waiting for this book! If you have read the Immortals of New Orleans series, then you know that Detective Sydney Willows has always valued human life. And as an officer of the law, she has always taken her job to protect others seriously. Lost Embrace deals with Sydney and how she is adjusting to her new life, as a vampire. Kade Issacson, is Sydney’s fiancée and he is doing everything in his power to help her. With danger lurking around the corner, Sydney must come to terms with her life now and make changes that will not only save her life but also Kade’s. I don’t know how Kym Grosso does it, but she did it again! This novella is packed with action, acceptance, and in true Kym Grosso fashion; an erotic scene that will have you reaching for a glass of cold water!

Naughty naughty Leopold!

If you could sum up Leopold's Wicked Embrace in three words, what would they be?

Just three?! I would say adventurous, naughty and passionate!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the characters and their personalities. Kym Grosso did a great job in developing the characters and giving them each their own voice. I liked the friendship between Leopold and Dimitri. The banter back and forth made me laugh.

Which character – as performed by Ryan West – was your favorite?

Leopold of course! Ryan West does a great job in getting into character with Leopold. His voice is consistent, steady and clear the whole time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! The combination of Kym's story and Ryan's performance made this book really enjoyable.

Any additional comments?

Kym Grosso is a gifted author. Her Immortals of New Orleans series is outstanding! The characters are likable, witty and full of passion. Leopold's Wicked Embrace has it all. An alpha male, a passionate female who can take care of herself, and some naughty scenes! I recommend the whole series! You will not be disappointed!

Would you consider the audio edition of Storm Mistress to be better than the print version?

I found both formats equally enjoyable. The print version allowed me to use my imagination and visualize the characters. The audio edition brought the characters voices to life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Toryn. He loves Isadora and will do anything to protect her. He makes her feel wanted and sexy.

What about John Lane’s performance did you like?

John Lane did a good job in bring Brandy's characters to life. He was consistent, clear, and his performance was enjoyable.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A magical storm!

Brandy L Rivers is a gifted writer. The characters and plot in Storm Mistress are likable and engaging. Overall I enjoyed listening to this audio book. I recommend the Others of Seattle series if you enjoy a good paranormal romance filled with steamy scenes and magic!

Yes! Kym Grosso does a fabulous job in telling Tristan's story. She was detailed in describing the characters and making them likable.

The scene with Tristan, Kalli, and Logan after her first shift. Oh my! Kym wrote a scene that is nothing but hot passion!

Have you listened to any of Ryan West’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have. Ryan West's narrative was once again impressive. He kept a clear, constant, and steady performance throughout the whole enactment.

A paranormal romance with action and suspense!

What made the experience of listening to Shadows of the Past the most enjoyable?

What made this experience enjoyable was the author's story. Brandy L River's does a good job, in describing her characters and telling their story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shadows of the Past?

Amethyst punching Dacia straight in the nose! And Preston's reaction to Amethyst punching her was awesome! Actually, that whole scene was great! It was nice to see Amethyst stand up for herself.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Kelley Hazen Storyteller Productions?

I have listened to other books narrated by Kelley Hazen and found them enjoyable. However, I felt that this performance lacked some of the same consistency, as her previous work.

Amethyst is a water nymph who is trying to get her life back to together after a disastrous relationship. Hayden is the sheriff of Edenton and pretty much suspicious of everyone he meets. Listen as they meet, fall in love and battle the evil that threatens their lives. Brandy L River's once again deliveries in this installment of the Others of Edenton. I found this audio enjoyable and I was happy when Hayden found his happily ever after.

What other book might you compare Nights Embrace to and why?

If I had to compare Nights Embrace to another book it would be In Too Deep, also by Brandy L Rivers. The characters in both books have something magical about them, that draws the reader in.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was in the beginning when Roxy sees Trevor. The way she was looking at him was hot! And the way Trevor responded to her had me cheering for them from the beginning. I also laughed when Trevor got a couple of drum sticks to the head.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! The narrator did a great job conveying the story. He was clear, consistent and did a awesome job in distinguishing each of the characters voices.

Any additional comments?

Brandy L Rivers deliveries another outstanding book. Roxy and Trevor are likable and relatable. I also liked how the other characters were a part of the story. Mikey being protective of his sister was sweet, as well as Trevor's clan who are looking out for him. Ms. Rivers has a talent for story telling and keeping her readers wanting more.
