I must confess at the start that I'm a huge fan of Peter Styles and one click anything he writes! I expected to love this story and I was not disappointed. Peter writes MM stories with just the right balance of realistic relationships and hot sex scenes. If you love second-change romances, you'll love this one! Morgan Sharpe does a wonderful job with the narration -- I'll definitely seek out more listens of his!

Excellent Book 2 in this trilogy!

Skye Warren has written another excellent trilogy! This is book 2 of three and it does not disappoint. I read the e-book as well as listened to the audiobook. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators, as is Grace Grant and they both do a marvelous job here. While most of Book 1 was from Liam's POV, we gain more insight into Samantha's character in this sequel. Skye is a master at the slow build and letting you into the mind of her characters. You feel Liam's angst and struggle as he comes to terms with how he loves Samantha and accepting her as a woman, not a child who needs to be taken care of. This age-gap romance is a beautiful thing. I've read book 3, so I know how this turns out, but the cliffhanger at the end of Concerto is a doozy! Definitely worth the one-click! I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and that's what you'll always get from me. #AudiobookObsession

Excellent Dark Mafia Romance!

This was my first A.J. Daniels books, but it won't be my last! I enjoyed the way the story built and the characters developed. This is also my first listen by JT Farrell -- I'm a sucker for a deep bass voice in my ear -- to hear Braxton call Klara "Mia Bella"...YUM! I'll definitely invest in the remaining stories in this series to find out what happens to the others in Braxton's trusted circle. The sex was hot, the mystery twisty, and the ending fantastic! I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and that's what you'll always get from me. #AudiobookObsession

Enjoyable listen...

This story has all the feels - love at first sight, a little angst, regret, passion, some comedy, and best of all, a happy ending! I enjoyed this story very much. The side characters had some hilarious comments to make you laugh out loud. Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright both did an excellent job with the narration. I've listed to several books narrated by Teddy, but this was my first of Mackenzie's and I'll definitely seek out more by her. I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and that's what you'll always get from me! Go download this one -- it's well worth it! #Audiobook Obsession

It's a struggle...

I struggled with writing this review as much as I struggled with this book. I feel that Karen Lynn put a lot of her heart and soul into this story, but this one just wasn't for me. I don't think I would have defined this as a psychological thriller - although it was definitely dark, which is my go-to genre. I found the pathology of the relationships in this story to be very difficult to read - the style of the story was to give different POVs, which I usually appreciate; however, this jumped back and forth (or should I say around and around) too much and sometimes led to confusion about the storyline. I downloaded the box set of Books 1-3 through Kindle Unlimited, but was gifted Book One audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I have read all three books only to discover there will be a fourth - I wasn't aware of this when I committed to read what I thought was a trilogy. I'm undecided if I will read Book Four when it is released "Winter of 2019". Book One narration was okay at best -- I think maybe this narrator does not yet have a lot of experience and will, hopefully, get better. I don't plan to listen to Books Two and Three, since they are by this same narrator. There were several word mispronunciations, odd pauses (which may just be poor editing), and the attempts at voices were sometimes distracting to the story. I see in others' reviews that they really enjoyed the story and were hooked immediately -- regrettably, this just wasn't the case for me. I can, however, appreciate and honor the author's creativity and imagination it took to create this story.

Great conclusion.... or is it the end??

Natasha Knight did a wonderful job with book 2 in this duet -- it's full of twists and turns and keeps you listening. There were some dark elements in this conclusion, but maybe not a many as in the first book "Taken". I was satisfied with the ending and intrigued with the unanswered questions -- so glad that Gregory's story will be told. I'll definitely get that one. The narrators do a wonderful job telling Ms. Knight's story -- I'll give others of theirs a listen. I received the audiobook voluntarily in exchange for an honest review. #AudiobookObsession

I voluntarily received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. If you like dark, twisted, angsty stories, then this one is for you. Natasha Knight does a great job in building the storyline in this first volume of a duet. The story keeps you engaged and anxious to find out what's next. It does end on a cliffhanger, so know going in that you're going to want to listen to "Torn" for the conclusion. Michael Pauley and MacKenzie Cartwright do a wonderful job with the narration -- dual POV's are my favorite listen! This one is well work the credit! #AudiobookObsession

It takes the right person...

Grace believed she was asexual and didn’t think passion or love would ever be in her life. Then she met Dimitri Valentine and everything she thought to be true was turned on it’s head. This was a well-written story with just the right amount of heat, angst, twists and turns to keep you listening. Melissa Stiletto does a good job with the narration. Michelle Hughes did a great job with this story and I’d like to have a continuation of Dimitri and Grace to see where their story goes. #AudiobookObsession

Finding your way to love...

This storyline had great potential, but really didn’t live up to it. This is disappointing, as I’ve read several of Peter Styles’s books and have enjoyed them. There were some issues (grammatical errors, editing changes in locations of characters that didn’t make sense, etc.) that made for distractions. I thought the ending felt rather rushed and could have been fleshed out more. This was my first listen of Randi Johnson, and he did a great job with the narration. I’ll give a listen to others by him and will most certainly read others by Peter. #Audiobook Obsession

Steamy enemies-to-lovers romance:

I've read many of B.B. Hamel's books, but this is her first audiobook and she did not disappoint! This could-be-typical enemy-to-lovers romance has twists and turns to keep you listening and Meghan Kelly does a wonderful job with the narration. If you like hot, steamy angst with a happy ending, this is the one for you! Well worth the one click or credit. I'll definitely seek out other books by the narrator! 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
