well produced and balanced

this was a well produced and balanced podcast. cece is the kind of a person to make me glad I have never met her nor ever had to interact with her. she plays the victim, maybe she was at times like we all are eventually, but she is the common thread in the people around her as a wrecking ball of traumatic destruction. those poor children.

hilarious and well researched. great for any movie lover. I've listened to all of them. even for the movies i wasn't that interested in hearing about or never seen, it was still funny and interesting

protagonists too stupid to live

overall enjoy the premise of the story. but the protagonists and the author's choice to make them very smart people but terrible at decision making is frustrating. author seems to be okay with letting murderers rapists and slavers get away without harsh consequences in this story. that does not seem realistic in a society set up to be barely surviving. protagonists are unbelievably forgiving to antagonist characters.

I'm so glad at least some of the truth around this con artist is finally being told. fantastic and compelling journalism was done. this really speaks to the inequities and inequalities of justice in America and the world. and what those in power or even fake manipulated power can get away with. I hope someday a measure of real justice can happen. maybe this story and reporting will be what tips the scales of justice.

I think McMaster Bujold is a superb author and am loving this series! I also love the narrator! I will say I didn't like this one quite as much as the previous books because it seemed the most sad overall of the books thus far, but you can tell it's setting up for something big and I'm excited to see what Miles gets up to next.
