Historia
Titan Dinsmore loves his family, but as the youngest of five, he craves his older siblings’ respect—and a little distance. A chance meeting at the train station with a forlorn young lady turns into a growing attraction between them. But Titan soon discovers there is a difference between wanting to be treated as an adult and truly stepping up to lead. How can he help tenderhearted Nora see beyond her father’s abandonment and rest in the love of her Heavenly Father?

Beautiful story of hope
Revisado: 12-30-23
I absolutely loved this story. I was so impressed by how well Heather Wood packed so much character growth and faith into a novella—not to mention the beautiful romance between Titan and Nora. Even though I’ve only finished the first book in this series, I didn’t feel like I was missing any vital information—this story definitely shines on its own! I am looking forward to picking up the rest of the series❤️

Beautiful historical narrative
Revisado: 12-26-23
I absolutely loved this story. The touch of romance, the strong character and faith arcs, and Hunt’s attention to historical accuracy made this book such a joy. I will definitely be purchasing the rest of this series! I thought the narration was really well done as well! Highly recommend

Love this story
Revisado: 10-21-23
This book is one of my all-time favorites. As always, I was delighted with it. Sometimes the narration bothered me though, but not enough that I didn’t want to keep listening. Overall, I would say this story is definitely worth the listen, but it is probably not the best audiobook out there, even having a full cast.

Historia
Charlotte Anne Mattas longs to turn back the clock. Before her husband, Sam, went to serve his country in the war, he was the man everyone could rely on—responsible, intelligent, and loving. But the person who's come back to their family farm is very different from the protector Annie remembers. Sam's experience in the Pacific theater has left him broken in ways no one can understand—but that everyone is learning to fear.

Best book of the year
Revisado: 06-28-23
This book really hit close to home for me, with my husband being a combat veteran, but I found it to be so genuine and heart wrenching, and ultimately uplifting. I love that Janyre Tromp didn’t shy away from the brokenness of the situation, but she illuminated the way to redemption as well. The faith arc was beautifully woven in and felt authentic as well.
I bought the book about half way through listening to the audiobook version, because I knew that I’d want the opportunity to flip through its pages. I really enjoyed the narration as well though, and I know this is a book I will come back to over and over again.
