Awesome series
Revisado: 04-14-25
The flow of these stories are excellent. I’m enjoying myself. The depictions of characters and such leave a lasting impression in the mind. I have such great pictures in my head and it seems I’ve traveled along with Kaine. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

It felt like a long lost show I haven’t watched in so long. Everyone came right back to view in my mind’s eye as soon as I heard Luke Daniels voice.

Romantic and Suspenseful
Revisado: 01-08-25
This was a great story. I really enjoyed the ride. There was romance, suspense, humor, a little bit of erotica, and family. It was fairly realistic as well. Not too extra with the action and not too scary as it pertains to the trauma the characters experienced. I’d recommend the listen.

Historia
Serving a 10-year sentence in a Nevada prison for armed robbery, Ethan Lockhart hopes that he can one day become a productive, law-abiding member of society. But society has other plans for Ethan. When he’s given a 48-hour furlough to attend his sister Abby’s funeral, he learns that her body was never found - just enough blood to declare her dead instead of missing - and he begins to suspect that there’s more to her death than was reported. Ethan decides to use his 48-hour window to find out what happened.

This was a great listen. I completed it in one sitting. I like the approach of saving someone you love that isn’t rooted in a romance yet there was some romance involved. The ending wasn’t bad either.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Oh My Goodness!!!
Revisado: 09-11-24
This book was simply beautiful! I loved the story and it has a wonderfully happy ending. No super freaky things which I don’t mind but I’m glad to have a story that didn’t have any of it. Very cute and very nice. No super deep dramatic turns. Just light and wonderful. I’d recommend this stress-free listen to anyone. The performances were great. I love the duet/cast style and the production was masterful. I’d listen to it again!!!

Revisado: 09-06-24
I love this series. I can’t say it enough. Honour is gonna stress me yet waiting on new books! I have gotten so used to Luke Daniels that if I hear him on another book I’m going to automatically picture Arthur in my mind’s eye. Great addition to the series. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the cast of characters upon return to the different hives and villages. Until next time….

Historia
Here, anthropologist David Graeber presents a stunning reversal of conventional wisdom: He shows that before there was money, there was debt. For more than 5,000 years, since the beginnings of the first agrarian empires, humans have used elaborate credit systems to buy and sell goods - that is, long before the invention of coins or cash. It is in this era, Graeber argues, that we also first encounter a society divided into debtors and creditors.

Revisado: 06-23-24
I love a good history lesson and this is about debt and money. It challenges what we’ve been told about money and where it came from. For those who like to dig into philosophy and truly question the overarching beliefs this is a great read.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Nice Twist!
Revisado: 05-15-24
I really appreciated this listen. I have read and listened to many romance novels and this one is probably one of the few that had a twist I didn’t see before it presented itself. I’d recommend this listen. The narrator’s were great and a good duet read is such a treat.
