I think what I liked most about this book is that his wasn’t two young people falling in love. Maybe it’s because I’m in my 40s, and can relate better to Jake and Hanna. A surprise pregnancy and the chance to do it right this time? Definitely a winning story line. Oh, and did I mention hot the sex scenes are??? 🙌

I ❤️❤️❤️ this story. It hit a chord in me, and probably anyone who has lived through high school. The story and performance is captivating, and I had a hard time putting it down. It may be a teen romance, (very mature scenes evolving high schoolers), but it's well worth the read... Or listen 😉

What I loved most about this story has to all the little fate nuggets sprinkled throughout the book. My second favorite thing is how the main character, Luca, works to overcome her challenges. It is never easily done, and that makes her more realistic. And of course I love that Griff never gives up on her and loves her through it all.
Excellent performance by the narrators!

This story is non stop action; An emotional roller coaster; thrilling. The narrator, on the other hand, had a nice voice but was slow and almost robotic.

I devoured this book!! If I didn’t have other obligations I wouldn’t have put it down for a minute!!
I have to admit I was a little torn up on who could be trusted and I trolled DG Swank’s fan page for spoilers. ;) I didn’t find any.

I really enjoyed this book. I have read several of Brogan’s books and this one might be my favorite. Amy McFadden performs all her work well. She has a comforting voice and can deliver humor and sarcasm.
It’s hard to find love in a small secluded town, especially if you are on an island. And we all know how hard it is to get back on the proverbial horse after a hard fall. That is why Brooke Callaghan is still single in her mid 30s. I would go into more about the handsome stranger that she meets, in a quite comical way, but I don’t want to give any spoilers.
Small towns are known for having gossips and scandals and this story doesn’t disappoint. You also get a glimpse at the reasons people will spread tall tales. At the “end of the day” family, friends and love, it what life is all about.

I wish I would have listened to the whole sample! This recording is so bad I’m switching over and reading the rest. I love CM Seabrook so I’m sure I will like the story, but I can not listen to it anymore. Sounds like they recorded it in their home. Very poor quality.

Sweet little story

I only have one negative about the story, it’s too short! I felt lit the performance was read a little fast. I slowed the speed down but that didn’t fit either. Over all I would recommend reading/listening to this book.
