Historia
Max Tegmark leads us on an astonishing journey through past, present and future, and through the physics, astronomy, and mathematics that are the foundation of his work, most particularly his hypothesis that our physical reality is a mathematical structure and his theory of the ultimate multiverse. In a dazzling combination of both popular and groundbreaking science, he not only helps us grasp his often mind-boggling theories, but he also shares with us some of the often surprising triumphs and disappointments that have shaped his life as a scientist.

Great book on cosmology
Revisado: 06-05-18
This is a very well-written book which clarifies many of the different theories regarding the origin of and the nature of the universe. While few would agree with all of its conclusions, it is definitely a must-read for anyone interested in this subject.

Historia
Most people who pay attention to the news would tell you that 2017 is one of the worst years in recent memory. We're facing a series of deeply troubling, even existential problems: fascism, terrorism, environmental collapse, racial and economic inequality, and more. Yet this narrative misses something important: by almost every meaningful measure, the modern world is better than it ever has been. In the United States, disease, crime, discrimination, and most forms of pollution are in long-term decline, while longevity and education keep rising.

A convincing optimistic view of the future
Revisado: 04-21-18
The author has done a very good job of summarizing a great many issues that affect all people. While I did not agree with all of his opinions, they are well thought out and overall very convincing. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Historia
In little more than half a decade, Facebook has gone from a dorm-room novelty to a company with 500 million users. It is one of the fastest growing companies in history, an essential part of the social life not only of teenagers but hundreds of millions of adults worldwide. As Facebook spreads around the globe, it creates surprising effects, even becoming instrumental in political protests from Colombia to Iran.

The Facebook Effect
Revisado: 06-08-17
This is a very well-crafted and interesting book about the early days of Facebook. It has many insights that are not readily available from other sources. It is very well written.
My only small complaint is that The microphone picks up the narrator making swallowing sounds.
I highly recommend this book!
