I own and read all of this series but of course life gets crazy so I turned to audible and after running out of things to listen to I wanted to go back and get another taste of my Lords of the underworld!
I have to be totally honest, after listening to the likes of Jim Frangione and Davina Porter I really was not impressed with Max Bellmore but I had already got the first 2 and had missed my lod's so much that I cited to put up with it. of course about halfway through the book I was used to him and decided maybe he wasn't so bad after all. As for the storyline,
let's all remember that this is book one of at least 20 so of course each one gets better and better! I have loved all of gena's series, of course this is my favorite and I think second would be Atlantis. do yourself a favor muddle through this first one and I promise you they get better from here! (if you've made it through all of Gena's series and looking for a new one might I suggest the Black Dagger Brotherhood by Jr Ward and/ or The warriors series which molds into the Dragon King series by Donna Grant!)

first, let me just say that no one and I mean NO ONE can narrate a Black Dagger brotherhood book but Jim Frangione!! J.R Ward does a perfect job of giving you excitement in each book and tidbits for what's coming next! I cannot wait for Lassiter's book!!

First, let me say I'm sorry that this is so my first post. 😔 I didn't understand for a long time why these reviews are so important. Now that I do I will be doing one on each book I read!
I've read every book in this series including slices of life and I still can't wait for the next one!! lol The snowy world that's Ruby Dixon has created is awesome as well! Mostly I've fallen in love with these people! The females with their diff personalities, the BABIES! I'm sucker for pregnancy and babies! This has it all!! I never would've thought a big blue alien with a tail could be a sexy, gentle giant and make me wish I was there!! (b.t.w. I HATE the 🥶🧊 lol)

Another beautiful HEA for my Reapers!!

This is Torin and Breda's story and what a whopper it is!!

Breda shows up on the Reaper's radar as having something to do with the new Other's who are calling
themselves The Six. Torin and the Reaper's know they have to keep her safe if they are going to learn
anything about the group. This gives Torin and Breda time together and it's the best kind of love story!
Action packed, wicked love scenes and tender moments as well. I won't give anything away but just know
that this one will pull you in and keep you until the very end!! Donna Grant knows her business and business is GOOD!!!!

I absolutely LOVED this book!! A perfect example of world building, character development and an awesome HEA! This is Vaughn and Eurwen's story and boy did Donna Grant give them a STORY!
This is the 2nd book in the Dragon Kings series, the new. spin-off from the Dark Kings series.

When a fae doorway appears in the dragonwood Con and Rhi know that they will finally get to meet their twins Brandt and Eurwen. They're cautiously hopeful it will go well. Vaughn "needs" to go with them as he's almost positive that his mate is there. He's been searching for her since their night together eons ago. She disappeared before he woke that morning and hadn't left even her name.

Eurwen and her twin are as close as a set of twins can be and ruling together has never been an issue, but she thinks it's time to meet their parents. Brandt wants nothing to do with the Kings coming to Zora, especially their parents! Eurwen is secretly hoping Vaughn will be with Con and Rhi but when he does appear it doesn't go at all the way she'd invisioned.

Once they decide to start talking things get MUCH better and MUCH HOTTER!! lol
Someone or something is attacking dragons on Zora and Brandt finally realizes that he needs his parents and the Dragon Kings to face this new enemy.

Overall I think Donna Grant has hit another homerun with Dragon Mine! You can see how much she loves her Dragon Kings in every book she writes! I can't wait for book 3!!!!

Another beautiful Reaper Story!!

I LOVE the Reaper's Series!! It's the perfect companion to The Dark/Dragon Kings Series!!
In Dark Alpha's Obsession we meet Rordan and Fianna.

Rordan is sent by Erith/Death to infiltrate a group who are trying to start their own group of The Other's. ( An enemy they defeated in previous books) The leader of the group is Dorcha and his sister Fianna is head of his security team.
The magic starts from the minute they meet. They both start to open up to each other about their families and secrets. It's just a beautiful story from start to finish and we expect nothing less from our Donna!!

Still as GREAT as the 1st!!

I love it when your reading a series and the author is SO good they can keep you in thrall throughout the entirety of it! Like so many people I started with the television show and quickly became obsessed..lol
I had to have the book series and I LOVE the narrator!! she is Awesome!!
Overall this book is a brilliant continuation of an enthralling series! Bravo!!!
