Talk about a whiplash ending

This is an excellent continuation to the series. Characters get more detailed, and the relationships are building very nicely. The new girl is alot of fun, and the actual relationship talks are very real. I love Harem novels as much as the next person, but proper Poly relationship building is refreshing. The twist at the end sent me a reeling a little bit, but if this takes place in the same world as some of the other stories by this author, it makes sense. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

As usual, the voice actors did a wonderful job! Keep up the great work everyone!

An excellent albeit slightly confusing story

This was an excellent start to the story. The Voice Actors did a fantastic job as always. They are two of the best in the industry, and I very much enjoy their other works as well. The characters were fun and the dynamic grew nicely as the story progressed. The setting was a delight, being a huge fan of tall ship stories and space, it was nice to see them combined well. My only real complaint is with the "spice". While it may just be me, I felt that this story missed Virgil's usual exciting spicy scenes. Coming straight from "Coven King" may have shifted my thinking on it a bit, but the scenes felt a bit tacked on and underwhelming. I don't mind only having a few scenes in a good story, but when those scenes lack any real "punch", it almost may as well have been a fade to black story.

I know this is a small complaint overall, but if you expect Virgil's usual debauchery, you may be disappointed in that aspect of this particular story.

All in all though, I will continue through the next book so that I can enjoy more of this excellent universe and incredibly fun characters.

The good, the bad, and the obsessive

This was truly a fun story from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed the intro and the Castlevania feeling of the opening chapters. The characters were fun, and the emotions seemed genuine and developed naturally. This was a very surprising story that kept me hooked from the first chapter. The voice talent was also sublime. Excellent work all around!

I need more of this madness!

This was a great series! I am hopeful for more novels in this story. Alot of things were left open for continuation, and I think the world is really fun and well crafted. The writing throughout was good, and the voice actors did a solid job! This was my first time listening to both of these artists, and they started growing on me after book 2. The campy nature of the story was nice, and I was amazed at just how many naughty scenes there were. Great work all around though.

If you want a mostly light hearted erotic story with some surprisingly deep emotional moments, you could do far worse than this collection. Plus, at only 1 credit for the whole story so far, it is well worth it. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

A moment of downtime would be nice!

This story has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. the second half of the book is non-stop tension and drama! The character growth throughout this book was far better than the first one, and feels real and believable. Great work on this story. I hope you continue working on this one, because I can definitely see more happening with this setting and characters. Alex Ford did a masterful job as always! I love all the distinct voices she can produce!

That ending though!

I definitely did not cry during the last few chapters of the book. Nope, not at all. Lying aside, this was a roller coaster of emotion. I do wish the ending had maybe 1 or 2 more chapters to answer some questions left over from earlier in the book/series, but it was a satisfying enough ending to make the whole story feel complete. Alex Ford is a voice acting master right alongside Andrea Parsneau, in my opinion. I will definitely give Edmond's other books a try now, though I am pretty sure the series around Jack Masterson is not one I need to listen to anymore. Great work!

Audio is fixed

Looks like the audio has been fixed. The story kept me on the edge of my seat. Kind of a downer with how much the main character loses throughout, but I had a feeling this character was never going to have a happy ending. Well worth the listen, starting the last book now.
