Dumb ending
Revisado: 02-22-25
Cheap undeserving ending tbh, it’s an overused plot point and just boring to read through again and again in every mediocre book. Shame I was really enjoying the series

Ahhhh same status sheet the book
Revisado: 09-27-24
How many times do we need to hear his stats. It goes on forever and then he talks for a bit and then goes back to reading the status again then talk a bit status talk a bit status talk a bit status. They go through his status about 2-4 times a chapter and when it takes 3 min to go through it that’s about 10% of the book just going over a status when the only thing that changed is a skill level. And they don’t even point out what skill leveled up as if your suppose to keep up with each level of each of his skills and notice which one leveled up. *goes through his whole status* “oh two of my skills went up” ….. WHICH ONES BRO?!!?!?? Otherwise great book but honestly if I didn’t use this at work I’d just be using kindle unlimited so I can skip this easily, other audio books put those status screens as separate chapters or make sure to divide them into easily divisible time skips why can’t more be like them

Holy hell the status
Revisado: 09-26-24
This might sound like an exaggeration but believe me when I say about 1-2 hours of this book is just the MC going through his status. It read out his status back to back with about 4 minutes in between at one point. Like everything else is great about the book but holy hell how many times do we need to hear that. “Oh one of my skills leveled up” *reads through his whole status for 2minutes* then two minutes later oh I got a level up *reads his whole status for two minutes, then a few more minutes later “let’s see what kind of skills I have available to get *reads the skills for 5 minutes* “all but two of these skills are worth mentioning the rest aren’t useful to me. THEN WHY WASTE TIME READIN IT OUT!!?!???! Especially when the Mc stays at nearly the same level for long amounts of time with short burst in leveling we don’t need all that

Absolutely terrible don’t waste you money the positive reviews are bots most likely
Revisado: 09-16-24
Zero stars
God this is hilarious they wouldn’t show my review unless I gave five stars, read this review to see what kind of book this is
Okay so first of all I had to put the reading speed at 2.3 until I got an illusion of emotion out of the narrator. As soon as I started listening I got mad cause I thought audible wouldn’t charge your for a book voiced by A.I and was angrier cause I thought “how dare they charge me for experimental A.I cause it sounded worse than the other A.I books I’ve listened too. And then I got even angrier finding out it was an actual person (not cause there was a sudden amount of effort put into the narration but because I was checking the info to see if there a company I could complain too) who voiced this book and that they allowed it to pass and then charge people for it.
Point is that it sucks.
Next point is that the MC is terrible, not as ina terrible person but he’s an idiot. Major spoiler (I don’t even care I’m doing you a favor but not letting you waste money on this) but he finds four women who have been used as prostitutes against their will being chased by two guys in a truck one of them whooping and hollering “get back here and I won’t hurt you too badly” and general things rapist would say and then goes “I don’t want to kill them they might be forced against their will to follow the leader”. Like yeah poor them forced to rape the women and kill defiant men reall victim they are. Then he says “ Tell your boss I ain’t afraid of him and he better watch out cause I’m coming for him” then let’s them leave. Later his big plan to take over the base run by murderers and rapist is “let’s walk up to them and pretend we’re just normal people looking for shelter and then ambush them” like you literally sent them a message that you’ll be coming for him and they’ve seen a major main characters face, and said main character ,the one they got full view of, is in charge of going up to them and pretending to not be the person who just nearly killed the rapist he sent back.
Oh yeah did I mention that his plan is to not kill the murderers and rapist, yeah he was talking about how if one of his teammates doesn’t get over the love of his life dying the day she died that he’d leave him behind to die cause he can’t and won’t take care of him if he won’t benefit him, but the rapist and murderers he’s planing to just keep for some reason. I have such a major headache right now from how angry I am that I wasted money on this, like I don’t even mind the lost money what gets me is that someone believes that this its okay to charge people for this.
Oh yeah he’s also an idiot while fighting, he has this small band of skeletons that fight for him and he does nothing, he doesn’t have to control the skeletons he just tells them go fight and they do it, he just chooses to do nothing in the background, he doesn’t summon more skeletons when one gets taken down he waits until all of them are destroyed to summon them back one at a time and then complain how the monster that destroyed his skeletons one at a time won’t be held back by the one skeleton he summoned. He doesn’t pick up another skill of another bow or anything else he just sits there and watched and waits till things go overboard to do something.

Great voice actors absolutely the best performance I’ve heard since I’ve started audible
Revisado: 07-13-24
Like I said great voice actors and the story is great as well and honestly I’m glad to say the only thing I don’t like about this novel is the authors understanding when it comes to sizes. I mean he’d go on this long rant about how absolutely humongous this monster is and how it defies the laws of nature for something so big to exist and it turns out it’s like 4 meters long. Like that’s shorter than most elephants. And like the biggest one you’ll see is only 20 meters, like yeah that’s pretty big but it’s kinda disappointing. Idk maybe don’t hype it up with lines that belong in a Godzilla movie.

Historia
Months have passed since Michael first entered the Forever Kingdom, and while a great deal of the Game remains a mystery, his own place in it grows surer. Yet, survival—much less success—is by no means assured, and Michael will have to tread a delicate path to forge a place for himself. Ancient mysteries resurface. And long-buried truths are uncovered. The Forever Kingdom’s past is as murky as the Game, and there are nearly as many truths as factions. But if Michael is to emerge victorious, he must separate fact from fiction.

God the MC is an idiot, also really boring sections
Revisado: 06-23-24
Veteran who knows a lot-“Hey this will happen if you do that”
MC-*does it anyway*” OMG I can’t believe this happened when I did that this is so unfair!!”
Or how annoying he is a lot of the time and cocky for no reason at all. “Yeah I’ll just let this criminal who’s fought back an entire battalion of soldiers to escape imprisonment and death attack me, I’m severely under level but I’m sure I’m strong enough to stop anything he does” 10 seconds later “I’m completely out of potions and only have 18% health he’s affectingly taken 382% of health in those seconds I can’t believe he’s this strong how am was i suppose to know”
“Everyone avoids this place even the most experienced of players fear to trudge in these waters but I’m not afraid” “ten seconds later”I can’t believe I’m already being affected by deadly diseases if I didn’t buy that 600 gold potion I’d be dead”
“Wow there’s millions of insect monsters and analyze says they can find anyone nearby let me just sneak by them a few feet away, their too small to do any damage anyways I’ll just stand in the swarm if I’m found” ten seconds later “OMG there’s too many they’re shaving off my health so quickly I’ll die at this rate who would’ve guessed they’d find me”
Like holy hell if the story itself wasn’t this interesting I’d drop this, the MC hasn’t changed at all.
A new one “I have a very time sensitive issue I must take care off let’s go off on another adventure somewhere else I’m sure nothing will happen” “OMG I’m running out of time how could I do this and now I’m permanently disabled now”

The guy brings great shame on all Canadians, he’s so misogynistic and annoying. “Ohhh dumb little women, scared of wind and rain better ignore them” “ WHAT SOMETHINGS BEEN HAPPENING WHILE IT WAS RAINING WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME!” “Or “WHAT I OVERSLEPT WHY DIDNT THAT WOMEN WAKE ME UP?” Or “she was nice to me I bet she wants to have sex “ there’s also a time when the women went around the village kicking down doors and flushing out any remaining goblins and killing them after they got attacked “oh look at the little women acting tough, it’s so funny seeing them think that they did anything important.” Or when the women form a guard to patrol the gates at night and day time also building watchtowers “ohhhh look at them playing soldier it’s so cute” or when he makes the girls feel bad it’s always “ohh she’s so cute when she’s mad, it’s not my fault it makes me want to see her cry, look at her pretending to be sad she just wants me to see her act cute” meanwhile the girls legit crying at this point. God it’s annoying. And then he has the audacity to say “I will never miss treat anyone like that”

Historia
An odd twist of fate made me the newest resident in Meteoropolis, a city hurtling through space on an ancient comet. After waking up in a containment pod, I got assigned to live with a unicorn gamer girl as my host. Not only did I need to find a job and a place to live, but I had to get used to bumping elbows with demons, dragons, aliens, and elves! But somehow, that wasn't even the craziest part. When I arrived in this strange new world, I found out my soul had fused with a solar dragon. Suddenly, I had powers beyond anything even the magical residents of this city were capable of.

MC is insufferable
Revisado: 12-30-23
God I hate the spineless wimps, no performance will save this story god knows she tried but it just ain’t enough. Making the MC into a complete idiot for the sol purpose of advancing the story. He can move at light speed but he decides to to take hits for no reason “I can’t let him run away” bs. He then goes “I know Mages can’t use magic without their hands or your tongues so I’ll rip them off” but he decided to stand around wait to get hit for no reason. I’m sure the injury he got will be important later for no reason absolutely” oh the wound isn’t healing even thought my other injuries heal instantly, better wait to see medical attention by the best doctor in the city”. God it’s annoying
