Historia
Under the guise of a nuclear apocalypse, a group calling itself the Preservation Society kidnaps 10,000 people. The "survivors" travel to Callisto, Jupiter's outermost Galilean moon, where they form a utopian society, free from drones and AI. Two years later, escaped fugitive Henry Allen the Third, better known as H3, arrives on Callisto. He ascends to power and prepares to defend Callisto against a team of military-trained NASA astronauts, including one John Orville.

Narration is a bust.
Revisado: 10-03-24
Poor John. He writes good books, but can’t catch a break on the narrators. Martian one was a horrible voice actor (but read fine) this one is a horrible reader sounding like an AI bot except when doing voices… she’s ok with voices.

Well written with scientific accuracy.

Did not like that the narrator makes everyone sound like they’re whispering every time they speak.

Historia
With well over 200 million copies sold, this novel ranks among the most famous works in the history of fictional literature. It depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same time period.

DON'T DO IT!
Revisado: 09-11-17
I spent 95 cents on this and feel like they should pay me 5 dollars for the time and space it's wasted. The narrator starts off sounding fine, but soon the over kill bass kicks in. The he tries to do voices... Tries to do... Most of them are like nails on a chalk board, and the few that aren't are indistinguishable from one another. The story is good if you like period pieces, but please get a different narration.
