So many people have mentioned how Mel Robbins’ 5 second rule will change your life. This book is definitely a game changer and I love that Mel is the narrator. What makes the rule so interesting is that it’s simple and we’ve all used this tactic in our lives at some point. I’m passionate about self improvement and this book has me excited for what awaits me when applying this rule daily.

This book is very helpful. I’ve always felt awkward praying. So awkward, I’d avoid it. Then I’d avoid it for so long that I’d feel guilty. Id feel so guilty, I’d feel unworthy. This book focuses on building a relationship with God, more than it focuses on religion. The author goes into depth and helps you understand who God is, what is expected of us, as well as what is not expected of us. I feel more confident when I pray now. I understand I may not say the right thing and may sometimes pray for the wrong thing. Yet, God knows our hearts and will help us discern while there is fellowship. I’m so grateful I purchased this book, I’ll definitely be using it as a reference guide.
