Poop is laugh out loud funny, heart warming and brutally honest. It's relatable to anyone who has ever felt different because of something embarrassing and completely out of their control (all of us! especially kids), and shows what would happen if we couldn't politely sweep those things under the rug and avoid them. Our protagonist Liam suffers from what seems like some form of IBS and is in a new school with new kids, new teachers, family challenges etc. which is hard enough. His poop becomes a fully personified mentor and friend. This story is about more than Liam accepting his body and listening to it to improve his health.. it's about letting go, embracing change, finding his voice and growing up. I was truly moved by this story and I think it will connect with parents and kids alike. A.J. Morrison's reading is warm, touching, funny and engaging.. his performance does the story justice.
