Historia
This paradigm-shattering book provides an even-handed, science-based understanding of who women are, both on and off the pill. It will change the way that women think about their hormones and how they view themselves. It also serves as a rallying cry for women to demand more information from science about how their bodies and brains work and to advocate for better research. This book will help women make more informed decisions about their health, whether they're on the pill or off of it.

Very Informational

It felt like too many unnecessary words at too many different times in the book. Other than that it’s worth the read.

Historia
Women have been told that being pretty comes at the expense of being taken seriously. If a woman is physically attractive, there is often a presumption that she lacks the substance and smarts necessary to provide leadership. This narrative implies that being pretty and being capable are mutually exclusive. But in Pretty Powerful, Fox News political commentator and legal analyst Eboni Williams rejects that narrative. She says that to accept the false notion that beauty and power are mutually exclusive is to leave an incredibly powerful tool on the table.

Well said. . . . and even better illustrated
Revisado: 02-12-21
Eboni K. knocked this one out the box. I have learned in life that this particular subject is tough for young lady’s and even adult women to grasp and embrace. Miss Williams gave detailed examples of women who have and use their “Pretty Power” and also touched on how to gain and hone your own “Pretty Power” in your walk of life. I’m a guy and my interest stemmed from wanting to hear more about a professional woman’s perspective and this was definitely it.
I love it!!

I went on the search for Johann Hari after I watched his Ted Talk on YT so when I found his book I was immediately interested. His TTalk was amazing and this book was even more invigorating than his short talk. He never went off the main subject at hand and just when u think he is he reminds u, “oh no, I’m still here. .” Beautifully read this is an amazing book.
