Historia
No skill is more important in today's world than being able to think about, understand, and act on information in an effective and responsible way. What's more, at no point in human history have we had access to so much information, with such relative ease, as we do in the 21st century. But because misinformation out there has increased as well, critical thinking is more important than ever. These 24 rewarding lectures equip you with the knowledge and techniques you need to become a savvier, sharper critical thinker in your professional and personal life.

Same Material Different Title
- De rkeinc en 09-21-14
The title should be Cynicism 101.
Revisado: 09-20-20
The author doesn't see the hypocrisy of his arguments. He either has just as little evidence for what he believes as the people he's criticizing or cherry-picked evidence (at best). But like most skeptics, he probably thinks he doesn't need evidence for his lack of belief because he didn't make the claim. Essentially the "you started it!" argument.
He also overcomplicates very simply issues to justify his cynical viewpoints. As the saying goes, "what you don't like in someone else is also a part of you." This book really highlights that.
0 stars. This book was a waste of money in my opinion. His chapter titles are misleading, and he didn't say anything that humans don't already innately know. And just to be petty, I find the fact that he added fake applause after certain chapters to be odd and egotistical.

Please write a sequel
Revisado: 03-20-19
Perfectly detailed. The author made me feel like I was there without boring me to death with unnecessary details. I loved it.

Not detailed enough
Revisado: 03-18-19
It was about as detailed as Cliff Notes. I couldn't get invested in the characters.

Historia
Sarah Matamoros can’t complain. After immigrating from Mexico when she was nine years old, she’s content with the life she’s made for herself in sunny San Diego. She works hard at her mother’s housecleaning service by day and spends the evenings with her quirky eight-year-old daughter, Grace. From a very young age, Emory Owen had several concepts drilled into her head. Success is everything. Be the best. Fight your way to the top. Expectations were high in the Owen household and the world was watching. Born into a high society family, Emory never wanted for anything...at least anything money could buy.

Gross and disturbing.
Revisado: 10-11-18
I've read all of Melissa's books but I cant finish this one. Her sister's widow?! Ew..no. I'm sorry. I'll have to read the summary before I buy any more of her books in the future. This was too much.
