This book has highs and lows, as the author is good at philosophizing the primitive urge to fight that many of us who would read/ listen to this book can relate to. My negative review stems from the fact that the entirety of this story is pockmarked with comments of the authors racist tendencies to judge others based on ethnicity, while disguising it as an honest reaction to his ancestral past that he isn’t in control of. He also tends to throw in politics whenever it seems convenient. Very off putting considering the supposed aim of the book. This is a book on a man trying to overcome his victim mentality, while somehow being blissfully unaware of it.
