Surprised Me
Revisado: 09-23-16
What did you love best about Disordered: The Complete Case Files of Dr. Matilda Schmidt, Paranormal Psychologist?
It was so funny! I thought the first few books had moments that were seriously laugh out loud and I thought the narrator did a fantastic job. The potato men, cupid, the Easter bunny just so good! I'm not a fan of the whole love triangle trope but everything else was great.
What other book might you compare Disordered: The Complete Case Files of Dr. Matilda Schmidt, Paranormal Psychologist to and why?
I think maybe Eve Langlais, or Milly Taiden would probably be the closest authors I can think of.
Have you listened to any of Hollie Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not but I'm looking for more of them. She was really good.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Easter Bunny trying to off himself and the potato men. I was laughing so hard with the potato men.
Any additional comments?
I would love more Cynthia St Aubin books on audio. I'd never read her books and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked these.

Historia
Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him. Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Good YA Series. Narrator So-So
Revisado: 09-23-16
Would you listen to Existence again? Why?
Probably. I liked the books which made me want to listen to the series. I liked Dank's and Pagan's voice, her mom and even Leif and Wyatt. But Miranda and Gee's voice are horrendous. Miranda is screechie and sounds like a 10yr old with a whiny tantrum and Gee sounds super old. Like an old, cantankerous cat lady.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved Dankmar and I think the voice used was really good.
What three words best describe Ashley Litz’s performance?
It was ok.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not in this one, no.

Historia
Given the choice between dealing with a psycho killer, a meddling mother, and an all too sexy falcon, this poor doctor does what any sane lion would do - he takes a nice, long nap. Avian Soaring Security has transferred Clarice to the Furry United Coalition so she can help track some escaped psycho patients. As if that weren’t bad enough, they partnered her with the very pampered Dr. Manners. Everything about the attractive feline annoys her except for his flaming-hot kisses.

Had Me Giggling From Beginning to End
Revisado: 12-16-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Most definitely. Funny and sexy. Loved Abby Craden doing the different voices, especially Miranda.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lion and the Falcon?
I rewound the scene where the girls are "kidnapping" Nolan because I just kept laughing.
What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She was fantastic! Kind of a Cate Blanchett voice and she brought the characters to life. Again, love her pitch when she does Miranda and the guys like Nolan and Chase, she deepens it nicely. Clarisse sounds like a tough chick just as her character.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I liked when Nolan's mom admits that he likes Clarisse and he does that double take. She admits that Clarisse is tough and has spunk and would be a great daughter-in-law.
Any additional comments?
I've already picked up the other books in audio even though I've read the series and am looking for more books by the narrator. First time listening her and loved it. I'm a huge fan of Eve Langlais and am looking for more of her audio books to download. She's a laugh riot.

5 Stars for a Sexy Marine
Revisado: 09-23-14
Would you listen to Undeclared again? Why?
Yes.
Four years of writing to sexy Marine Noah Jackson made Grace fall in love with someone she's never even met. But when he sends her a letter asking for them to just be friends, she's heartbroken and vows to never let herself feel like that again. Fast forward a year and to her disbelief, Noah shows up in her college, asking for another chance. Is a Grace really ready to open herself to losing her heart again?
“I’m not getting married. I plan to live a life of bachelorette-hood. I’ll be eccentric, have nine cats, and wear blue eye shadow and fur in the summer."
Noah goes to Central College, hoping to have a shot at getting Grace back. For four years, Grace had been the light that got him thru the dark times of war and having been stupid enough to let her go once, he wasn't about to mess up again. He needed another chance to gain her trust and become the man that she deserves.
“The Marines may have made me a man, but Grace made me human.”
An MMA fighter now, he's using his skills to get him thru college. Seriously, the fact that he was a fighter only increased his hotness level. And those kisses, oh my, panty melting. Not to mention the very sexy love scenes.
"Do you prefer the religious exclamations like 'oh God,' or do you have a bedroom nickname?" she sassed.
"I think you'll be too incoherent to form full words," I taunted
"Do you think magnetic polarity can be reversed?"
"Magnets can be reversed. But, for some, their attraction is so strong that they can't be kept apart."
What did you like best about this story?
The entire book switches POV from Noah to Grace and Jen Frederick does a really good job of giving us both sides of the story. This works especially well in the audiobook, since we get two actors playing the roles. That sexy twang of the lead male Andrew *fans self* oh my my.
Have you listened to any of Connor Kelly-Eiding and Andrew Eiden ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Filled with laugh out loud moments, I loved the book and the audio and can't wait for more. I'm anxiously awaiting Bo's story.
