Historia
If England had yearbooks, I'd probably be "Arden St. Ives: Man Least Likely to Set the World on Fire." I've no idea what I'm doing at Oxford and, until a week ago, I had no idea who Caspian Hart was. Turns out, he's brilliant, beautiful...oh yeah, and a billionaire. It's impossible not to be captivated by someone like that. But Caspian Hart makes his own rules. And he has a lot of them. About when I can be with him. What I can do with him. And when he'll be through with me. But now that Caspian's shown me glimpses of the man behind the billionaire I know it's him I want.

I was immediately captured by this book and held there. I fell in love with Arden from the moment he started rambling. I was both laughing and swooning for the majority of the story.

super adorable and fun read
Revisado: 03-28-20
This one was super cute and adorable. I usually enjoy this authors books so I figured I would enjoy this one too. I really loved Ben and Dover together. The world building was very well done with very well rounded characters. I love forbidden love story's and books about fated mates. A merman falls in love with a human and his father doesn't like humans and Ben is afraid his family will never accept his and Ben's love but Ben refused to let his mate go. Already about to jump into the second book. There's also super cute mer babies and pet otters and a cursed sea witch.

What makes a romance novel a romance? Writing a well-structured romance isn't the same as writing any other genre - something the popular novel and screenwriting guides don't address. The romance arc is made up of its own story beats. Told in conversational (and often irreverent) prose, Romancing the Beat is like sitting down to coffee with romance editor and author Gwen Hayes while she explains story structure - the way she does with her clients, some of whom are regular inhabitants of the best-seller lists.

enjoyable read
Revisado: 12-31-19
Both characters are porn stars and one identifys as strait until he meets Link and Link makes him realize inside he never knew he had. He never had it in him to move on after losing the girl he loved long ago due to a mistake he made. He Carrie's the burden of her death all these years along with the manslaughter charge. I never really care to see drawn out sex scenes with other people that have nothing to do with the main couple of even it is a book about porn stars. I feel like those scenes could have faded to black or have been left out. This story was a steamy and fun listen other than that. I wanted to believe more of their chemistry in the beginning and throughout the story but had a hard time with it but I really did enjoy how the author wrapped up the book at the end with a super sweet moment between the two characters.

Historia
The author of the best seller Call Me by Your Name revisits its beguiling characters decades after their first meeting. In Find Me, Aciman shows us Elio’s father, Samuel, on a trip from Florence to Rome to visit Elio, who has become a gifted classical pianist. A chance encounter on the train with a beautiful young woman upends Sami’s plans and changes his life forever. Elio soon moves to Paris, where he, too, has a consequential affair, while Oliver, now a New England college professor with a family, finds himself contemplating a return trip across the Atlantic.

wasn't what I was hoping for in a sequel
Revisado: 12-30-19
So though it was very well written with lots of great prose and the ending we all had been waiting for, I can't help but feel dissapointed like many of the other call me by your name fans. When this said it was a Call me by your name sequel, I was expecting something different. I was suspecting more Oliver and Elio but all you get is 11 minutes of them together. I could have done without all the other stories of Ellios dad and his latest love interest and the two chapters about Ellio being with some other guy who reminded him of Oliver but it wasn't Oliver so I had a hard time becoming invested in this part of the book. I hard a hard time believe Elios father and his new girlfriend love was this once in a lifetime love like the author was trying to have youbelieve, I thought their relationship was odd and cringy at times. Anyways, I wish I read the reviews before I started so I didnt keep waiting for something that wasn't going to happen until the very last chapter. Anyway, I did enjoy finally getting to see the ending I've been waiting for after reading Call me by your name. That book was very beautifully written and then this one just made me want to not finish it and instead just read the first one over again.

Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. It's a fluke. Too much whiskey. Believe me when I say, it will never happen again. I’m trying not to take it personally. Sh-t happens. It’s not a reflection on me. He claims it was too much whiskey. A onetime occurrence. And I believe him. But then why the hell does it happen a second time? Fate’s a funny thing. He likes her. She likes him. They say the third time’s a charm.

fun read
Revisado: 12-29-19
This was a fun read and it was a bit funny too. It's one thing to strike out once with a girl and to blame whiskey but to strike out twice and blame whiskey when there was no whiskey involved this time? no bueno. It was enjoyable but there were some moments I was wondering where the story was going. It was pretty short and the story wrapped up okay. I felt like it was the right length for the type of story it was. The narrator's did a really great job bringing the characters to life and helping me enjoy the story more.

Revisado: 12-29-19
one minute you think your life is perfect and the next you can see it unfolding right in front of you when someone from your husbands past comes back into his life and is found dead. I wasn't expecting that ending. I kind of figure what had happened halfway through but didn't expect the main character to be nothing but this innocent likeable character who was seen fo be generally a good person. The ending gave me chills. Anyways I liked this story until end. There was Just something about the ending that wasn't completely satisfying to me. Also I always like when there is some type of justice served in books but that wasn't the case here. Anyway, it was just okay for me.
The narrator did a really good job bringing the story to life and adding emotion into each character. She made the story better than it would have been if I just read it.

Celebrate Christmas on Blossom Street with a brand-new romantic comedy from New York Times best-selling author Debbie Macomber. Katherine O'Connor often spends her days at a cozy cafe on Blossom Street in Seattle where she writes Christmas letters for other people. She's good at making their everyday lives sound more interesting. More humorous. More dramatic. But for Dr. Wynn Jeffries, who also frequents the cafe, Christmas means lies and deception

cute Christmas short story
Revisado: 12-27-19
This was an okay quick christmas read. I didn't realize it was a part of a series when I started to but I didn't feel lost without reading the others first. This is my usual read when I read romance but it held my interest enough for me to finish story but there were aquite a few unrealistic characters in the story that were just super dramatic and seemed a bit inconsiderate and at times annoying. Wynn wrote books about parenting and didn't have children and k-o aent from not liking the guy to having a huge crush on his in like 5 seconds. The story seemed pretty rushed and so did their relationship. There was no building of their relationship. It was just one minute they weren't together and the next minute they were. K-o didn't like the guy because of how he was taking away Santa claus and many other things from her nieces whole Wynn admired k-o from afar trying to build up the courage to talk to her. It was a cute enjoyable christmas read for the most part though. I was just looking for a sweet hallmark like christmas story and this seemed to fit the bill

sweet and okay story
Revisado: 12-25-19
ReviewThis was an enjoyable read. There were sweet, steamy and heartbreaking moments. Julien had a hard time being who he was in front of his family but he had a hard time staying away from Matty who was a 19 year jock in the closet. My heart broke for Julien at times and everything he went through with his awful family. Julien will do whatever it takes to keep his cousin from experiencing the same fate he did by being sent to their grandfather and things get worse with his dad before they get better and Matty is there for him every step of the way. This was an okay story but there were a few unrealistic things and some over the top cheesy moments. I didn't understand why a grown guy in his 30 was still living on his own was letting his father still beat on him and try and control his life. The narrator did a really good job portraying all these emotions even though his tone didn't change much between characters and all the characters pretty much sounded the same. I enjoyed the adorable and sweet relationship between Julien and Matty.
