How is it even possible to write 16 consecutive books in the same series where every single book is better then the last?
I am flummoxed by the quality of both the story and the narration - my only regret is that i must now wait for thr next installment.

Do you like adventure? Go elsewhere. This book spend easily 10 hours of its unusually short 12 talking about how much everyone likes everyone else. Don't get me wrong, character development is great - but we really don't need to spend litteral hours explaining that the lizard and the armor are dating happily. There is no tension or development they just really like each other.
Oh, but baldree is great as always.

Good story dimmed by autistic MC

The MC is VERY autistic and fully incapable of engaging in human conversation.
Unless some story point changes his deeply damaged mind this means the MC is almost certain to never be able to develop any meaningful relationships - certainly any romance will be deeply uncomfortable and forced.
For a story about grinding this is fine - but very limiting for a story expanding further.
