Historia
In 1980, a wealthy businessman named Carl Fletcher is kidnapped from his driveway, brutalized, and held for ransom. He is returned to his wife and kids less than a week later, only slightly the worse, and the family moves on with their lives, resuming their prized places in the saga of the American dream, comforted in the realization that though their money may have been what endangered them, it is also what assured them their safety.

The worst characters and the worst of humans
Revisado: 09-05-24
I am not entertained by family dysfunction and characters that are the worst of themselves.

Fascinating read
Revisado: 11-28-20
Listening to this book for 30 hours reminded me what Leadership should sounds like: measured, thoughtful and brave.
There were times I thought there was too much detail (some, way over my head) behind all of the decisions made but President Obama had a way of keeping me engaged.
This book was compelling and gives me hope. The final story about the raid that ended with the killing of Osama bin Laden was incredibly fascinating and I didn't want the book to end.
