Horror movie spoilers and Final Girls overkill.

I love horror movies but this story references ALL slasher flicks way too much. Takes away from this story line. It’s almost like it’s relying on all those stories to tell this one. But it’s unoriginal because Scream was the movie to analyze and dissect horror movie plots & characters. And if you haven’t read Final Girls…it’ll spoil it for you.
It takes away from trying to visualize the characters of this story because it alludes way too much on other horror stories & it made me recall all the movies. I’m not even done yet. I have 1 more hour & it’s such a disappointment. I really wanted to love this.

It was trying too hard. Definitely not my favorite. Plot twists were far-fetched. I definitely expected more, but was really disappointed. Character filled up was good. The story wasn’t great.

Eh - BUT excellent execution!!!!

The story was a bit too dumb for me. Not hilarious not gripping not cozy not…just not.
But it appears everyone else loves it. But to each their own. I’ll get back to my King, Koontz & My Favorite Murder. Great Narration & voicing though. Exemplary (but try to get a better story for all those stars. Pls & tyvm). Writer is definitely not my cup of tea.

I love you ladies & guests BUT I inadvertently walked into the Pump Rules spoilers & I wish I had not heard them. I tried to even turn it off beforehand but I couldn’t get to it in time b/c it was on loud speaker as I was doing yard work. I even did the fingers in ears LALALA I CANT HEAR YOU. But it didn’t work. I do my best not to watch any ads/trailers/articles of anything I want to watch because I love watching things & finding out when I do watch. So I’m going to have to pause you ladies until this season is over or maybe can you warn us in the episode description of the spoilers ahead of time??!! Ugh. (I still love you but we’re going to have to break up / take a break for a few).

Barton series Book 5 LOVED IT
