Historia
Dr. Abby Corman has a bold idea: open a stable doorway between our world and an uninhabited parallel Earth. A new world we can use to mine resources to end poverty, grow enough food to end all hunger, and allow for population growth to end overcrowding. What could be a more noble aspiration for a brilliant young scientist? But the path to hell is paved with good intentions....

always love me some Mayberry!
Revisado: 02-12-21
as always Jonathan mayberry's story captured my attention right away! The only issue that I have with this is the woman who did the reading. I really wanted to like her performance but it was just really hard for me to listen to her voice, I'm not trying to be mean I wish I could say that I loved her but I just feel like her voice is really didn't match the characters. regardless of that I will be listening to the next two!!

Ever since her mother's death, Gabriella "Gutsy" Gomez has spent her days flying under the radar. Meanwhile, Benny Imura and his gang set out on a journey to find a cure. As they venture into new and unexplored territory, they soon learn that the zombies they fought before were nothing compared to what they'll face in the wild.

Historia
Return to the zombie apocalypse wasteland that is the Rot & Ruin in this short story collection from Jonathan Maberry. Benny Imura's zombie-infested adventures are well-chronicled in the gripping novels Rot & Ruin, Dust & Decay, Flesh & Bone, and Fire & Ash. But what else was happening while he was on his quest? Who were the others navigating the ravaged landscape full of zombies? Bits & Pieces fills in the gaps about what we know about First Night, surviving the plague, and traveling the land of Rot & Ruin.

I hope Jonathan Mayberry writes tons more
Revisado: 12-04-20
I hope Jonathan Mayberry writes tons more of these books! I think he did such an amazing job tying all of the characters to the original stories and I'm just so excited to see if he writes anymore. I was obviously invested in the main characters of the rotten ruin series but was able to get to know some of the smaller characters more and the new characters he introduced really grabbed me and held on to me tight.

Historia
As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children gripping a tree trunk in terror, wearing blood-filled sneakers, and unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours. Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret.

took a while to get going
Revisado: 10-13-20
I found myself drifting off as I listen to this story. I even took a break from it to read another book. It definitely started to pick up towards the end but I found it to be a little bit boring at the beginning.

taking a break from my world!
Revisado: 08-19-18
Facebook went by so quickly to me cuz everytime I press to play I feel like I was kind of holding back to a different time!! I laughed and I cried and I cringed... being able to take you out of your world and into theirs is it gift that not all writers possess!! I'm not sure about many things but I can say with a hundred percent certainty that Stephen King is one of those writers!!

Historia
All good things must come to an end, Constant Listener, and not even Stephen King can write a story that goes on forever. The tale of Roland Deschain's relentless quest for the Dark Tower has, the author fears, sorely tried the patience of those who have followed it from its earliest chapters. But attend to it a while longer, if it pleases you, for this volume is the last, and often the last things are best.

could have been so much better
Revisado: 11-02-17
unfortunately I just couldn't get into this book. I wanted to I really did but it just didn't catch my imagination or attention. I think the storyline could have been so much more interesting it just seem to jump around a lot. I didn't have a lot of time to get to know the characters before they were all of a sudden and crisis the story just seem to take off from the first page... all in all I was disappointed.

Historia
A masterful, intensely suspenseful novel about a reader whose obsession with a reclusive writer goes far too far - a book about the power of storytelling, starring the same trio of unlikely and winning heroes King introduced in Mr. Mercedes. "Wake up, genius." So begins King's instantly riveting story about a vengeful reader. The genius is John Rothstein, an iconic author who created a famous character, Jimmy Gold, but who hasn't published a book for decades.
