Annoying and anachronistic
Revisado: 11-22-24
Maybe it’s because I listened to all the books in order in a fairly short period of time, but the main character behaving so independently and with blatant disregard for friends and family in 1900 seems completely far-fetched. The main character started out slightly bohemian, but bungled many things in the first story. Undeterred she continues jumping to conclusions repeatedly in every story. I thought they would get better. I know better now.
hopefully, if it’s your kind of book, you’ll enjoy it.

That is, until they discover Farr previously worked at the esteemed Cleve College, where Jack is now a writer-in-residence.

Good story
Revisado: 09-06-24
Good story, with somewhat surprising plot twists. I recommend breaking up your listening. It was my mistake to try and listen to the entire tome in one fell swoop. All stories in this series have been interesting so far.
