I loved this book and how it brought in Fred. His introduction was essentially like Arnold coming in going "I am back!" Being all ticked cause he thought some one did something to his kid. It also explained a few things which was interesting.

I have to say when I first listened to this I was not expecting very much. Turned out it was a mixed bag. Some stories were a lot better than others. Overall though have to say that the audiobook was pretty good.

Slow start but it gets pretty good.

The beginning was kind of slow. It took a while for things to start moving. Once that happened though it got pretty interesting. I liked the new take on the end of the world trope. Might not really enjoy the planet core aspect so much but it is still pretty interesting. I wonder how the story will go from here. Also can't help but question the need for a harem in this story. I mean sure why not but it seemed that the harem aspect could have been downplayed a bit.

I love Elmer in this book. Although I have to say I wish the Freedom Eagle was more of a scrapper instead of essentially a mad bomber. Also have to say the ending made me kind of irritated it is like man the priests and priestess just think they can come in and do what they want just cause of who they serve.

Now as he advances yet another level, he can feel the barrier inside of his core becoming thinner, which is bringing him closer to being reunited with his wife’s soul.

I have listened to this story multiple time and it still is a great listen regardless of how many times. I love how the guy is the richest person on earth and to get away from everyone he goes and builds a cabin in the woods and is like i want to be alone!
