Who would have thought such an unlikely pair would fit so perfect. I loved this story. One of those books that just make you smile most of the time (and fan yourself 🥵). The swoony love of a big bearded fisherman for a “high maintenance” city girl was so sweet … and hot 🔥. I loved all the characters and am so ready to read Hannah’s story!

So cute but want more of Kal and Vera!

This was a definitely a different listening experience with the Duet and sound effects. Such a cute story with very entertaining characters. I hope we get a little more of Kal and Vera in the next audiobook. Their meeting at the end was ❤️❤️❤️ just adorable.

Ok Story - Narration not so much 😕

I love Claire Kingsley’s books. She’s one of my favorite authors. I have read pretty much everything except this series.

The story was ok but there were some parts of the book I just didn’t connect with. The boudoir scene felt like a line was definitely crossed. I understand the premise of it and get that’s not his normal MO, but it just felt very unprofessional and gave me very yuck vibes.

The audiobook really fell flat for me. The narration was inconsistent. There were times I had no idea who was talking because the voice changes were in the wrong place or nonexistent.

I will definitely continue on with the series because Claire Kingsley is one of my favorites and I trust her writing.

So sweet and so hot

So this book was a slow start for me. The fixation on a certain body part of the h got a bit old for me. But as the story progressed, we got into the good stuff. This was a very sweet read for me. And the hot scenes were HOT.

I loved both of the characters because they were just good hearted people 🥰. We still got to experience Weston, Kendra, Alex and Mia too.

Narration was fantastic!! Rock Engle must be a narrator I haven’t heard very often. At first I was on the fence. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. But as the story unfolded, he was perfect for this character and I will definitely look for more of his work in the future. Savannah Peachwood is one of my favorite female narrators so I really enjoyed the performance of this book.

This was a love/hate for me

I love Claire Kingsley and the only reason I didn’t abort mission (because Weston made me that mad) was because I trusted her writing. I knew she would dig him out of that awful hole he was in. I was all %#*! this guy!! How will I ever be able to digest this behavior.

Kendra was a saint, such a genuinely good person. And she never changed who she was because of Weston. That in turn helped Weston see a side to himself he didn’t even realize he had or wanted. Weston was seeing life differently, seeing himself differently. Kingsley was skillfully digging him out of that hate hole I had put him in. I’m so glad I kept that faith in her writing and finished the book (audio).

Performance - The male narration was good, but the female narrator didn’t do it for me.

I LOVED June Bug and George ❤️❤️❤️

I want to start off by saying I wasn’t sure what to expect out of June or her love interest, George. I wasn’t sure how the writers were going to create this love story.

What I am sure of now after reading it is they created a love story I will always remember. June was much deeper than she appeared in the previous books. Getting her POV opened a whole new world of June Bug. She is strong and confident. Peeling away layers and yet staying true to herself. George was the perfect fit for her. He loved her for who she is. Loved her quirks and mannerisms that made her “different”.

Slow start but ... WOW 🤩 ❤️

When I first started listening to this book I was apprehensive about the storyline and if I could buy into it. Wow.... did I buy into it!!! The story unfolded beautifully and I truly fell in love with these characters and their love story.

The narration was incredible -as it always is with these two. I will definitely revisit this book again! I’m kind of in love with the turn this story took in the end 🥰

I was hesitant on this - as I can be based on some reviews ..... BUT I trusted Ava’s writing and dove in. I love this story. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators really brought the story alive. I actually finished the book on kindle because I was impatient, but went back and listened to the final bit of audio anyway.

Ivy was strong and resilient. She is probably one of my favorite characters of all time. Experiencing the transformation of Cyrus was ❤️ everything. I will definitely revisit this book time and time again.
