The narrators were terrific and brought Christie’s characters to life. Listening to the books was even better than when I originally read them - the suspense kept building

Weak and unbelievable characters. Completely annoying and just wrong. Fake and so contrived. Had potential I. The beginning but Storyline became obvious and pathetically overdramatic. I gave up and did not finish. Regret the time I spent on this and don’t want to remember a word of it.

What would have made Absolute Power better?
We tried to listen to this during a long car ride. Everyone voted to turn it off after the first few minutes - though we gave it more time, the story was ridiculous and a waste of time. The writing was substandard, the characters were shallow, and the plot was unbelievable - and the author tried so hard to be sensationalistic, we had to laugh and give up listening. I expected more substance from the writer and narrator. I don't even want this in my library.
