Some sloppy details, otherwise 5 stars!

I loved this book. The only thing keeping it from a solid 5 stars is some sloppiness in the details. For instance, the sheriff will arrive in his patrol car but leave in his truck. The author talked about the coroner, Emily, having a sister, Anna, at the beginning but then Anna was never referenced again which is weird when Emily came to town to help a father who had a heart attack. Where was this sister? Otherwise, I loved the characters and the story and laughed at the fiancee's stupidity. Get this book. You will not regret it.

Makes you wonder, What if the movie had been made?

An enjoyable third installment to the classic series. Being this was the adaptation of a screenplay, it is missing the detail that would be in a book to replace the visual that you get in a movie. I would have liked for the author to fill in the missing details, but otherwise, it was classic Alien and Alien lovers will enjoy it. "In space, no one can hear you scream!"

A great family listen on a short trip.

Wally Roux is a fun little book about a very smart young teen struggling with what most smart, different teens struggle with. Maybe he is not as smart as he thinks and things are not as bad as they seem. A great listen for the whole family.

Glad this was free, still not sure it was worth it

OK, so a drug addled Alaska actor went nuts, who cares. I never saw the point to this book. It didn't really provide any additional information. I'm glad this was one of my monthly free Audible originals, but it still wasn't worth it. Don't waste your time.

I always enjoy the adventures of Zack & Kylie and this book is no exception. If you liked the previous NYPD Red books, you'll like this one. If you haven't read any yet, do yourself a favor and start with the first in the series.

An interesting listen, but how did they convict?

I enjoyed listening to this presentation of a high profile British murder case. Had this case been tried in the US, there is no way David would have been convicted. He may well be guilty, but there just isn't enough evidence to remove significant doubt. A unanimous verdict could never have been reached with such circumstantial evidence.

I find it odd that Scottish law prevents interviewing potential witnesses that did not testify in the trial. That prevents the investigation of alternatives which need to be further investigated in this case. I think lacking any other potential suspect, the police just pursued the only one they had to get a conviction, truth be damned. Too many unanswered questions for me. But you listen and decide for yourself.

Just an All Around Fun Listen!

Not a great piece of literature, but just a fun listen. If you like science fiction space saga's, this is just a fun book to listen to. It is totally preposterous and the likelihood of success is just about zero, but despite the odds, they pulled off the mission. Get this book, sit back and enjoy.

An entertaining listen of America's Sweetheart!

So you thought you knew Lucille Ball? You had no clue. This is a very entertaining autobiography of Lucy's first 50 years and all the struggles she had to endure during her rise from abject poverty to become America's Sweetheart. Who better to tell this story then her own daughter. Lucy Arnaz tells the story such that you think Lucille Ball herself is reading to you. A great book for fans and non fans alike if nothing more than to learn how showbiz worked in the 30's & 40's and how difficult the stars of the day had it. I highly recommend!
