Historia
The Sorrows of Young Werther was Goethe's first major success, turning him from an unknown into a celebrated author practically overnight. Napoleon Bonaparte considered it one of the great works of European literature. He thought so highly of it that he wrote a soliloquy in Goethe's style in his youth and carried Werther with him on his campaigning to Egypt.

Good story, terrible narrator
Revisado: 01-13-18
I would recommend this book, but definitely not post break up or if you are feeling depressed or suicidal. Get a different version though. The narrator ruined this audiobook with his fake german accent. He sounded like a bad Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator.

Helpful guide for writers!

I liked this book very much. Lots of good prompts. Analyzing other peoples' poems gave me new insight. Down side of the audio book is that you can't see the poems! Poetry is also visual. That's why I ordered the printed version.

Graham Russell and I weren't made for one another. I was driven by emotion; he was apathetic. I dreamed while he lived in nightmares. I cried when he had no tears to shed. Despite his frozen heart and my readiness to run, we sometimes shared seconds. Seconds when our eyes locked and we saw each other's secrets. Seconds when his lips tasted my fears and I breathed in his pains. Seconds when we both imagined what it would be like to love one another.

Boring
Revisado: 12-11-17
Got this book for free, so I listened to it out of curiosity and because the dude on the cover looks kinda hot. Lol. I wasn't expecting a literary masterpiece, but even still I found this book incredibly predictable and boring. So middle class and sentimental it made me sick. Lots of funerals, weddings, pregnancies and family holidays. And lots of crying. A lot. I thought this was romance/erotica, but I personally don't find diaper changing and baby vomit sexy. I don't know. Maybe I just don't get this genre.

Historia
Many women have spent their lives trying to succeed by "making it" in a man's world. But things are changing - more and more women are realizing that this way of being is no longer sustainable. We are experiencing a global shift that mystics through the ages have predicted: the return of the mother and the rise of the sacred feminine. Rise Sister Rise is a call to arms for women to rise up, tell their truth, and lead.

Spiritual. Very.
Revisado: 11-28-17
This book opened my chakras filling my womb with a healing light that is the wisdom of all women before me. I felt the intuitive spiritual connection between myself, my sisters and The Mother. I am now one with the universe and a sacred feminine energy is blissfully flowing through my soul... Not really. Actually as far as content, there isn't that much of it in this book. Mostly just new age mumbo-jumbo with a touch of pseudo feminism. Rebecca Campbell (being a professional at advertising and all) has built a succesful business around her books and workshops. A lot of people seem to find this sort of thing helpful though, but I guess that's none of my business. I think I'm going to perform a mystic ritual of my own by returning this book and releasing it to the eternal cycle of cosmos. Namaste.

This book made me seriously reconsider my relationship with alcohol. Towards the end it became kinda preachy though.
