Historia
In North Devon, where two rivers converge and run into the sea, Detective Matthew Venn stands outside the church as his estranged father’s funeral takes place. On the day Matthew left the strict evangelical community he grew up in, he lost his family, too. Now, as he turns and walks away again, he receives a call from one of his team. A body has been found on the beach nearby: A man with a tattoo of an albatross on his neck, stabbed to death.

Slow...drawn out
Revisado: 09-24-19
The story was very slow pace. It seemed to have a odd beat (a bit choppy) to the story. The characters were hard to get involved with or relate to. I found the story long and drawn out may be because all the characters had issues. The story was dark, not one that I would enjoy reading again.

Frustrating character
Revisado: 07-14-18
This was the most frustrating character ever! The main character was the stupidest female character ever...I got so frustrated. She was like the miss Magoo! Absolutely clueless and all around her she is creating chaos.

A captivating story of life and a small town
Revisado: 03-16-17
What a master story teller. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and all the characters. I am always amazed that Mr. Grisham can weave such interesting and complicated stories which usually make me cry! The Last Juror was another enjoyable story which I will enjoy again and again.

Historia
Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Wonderfully captivating series
Revisado: 11-11-16
I love the characters that Diana has developed for this series. I often feel that I can see and smell the scenes before me and can reach out and touch the characters. I was so happy the Ian came back to Jamie...it brought a tear of joy to my heart. I'm looking forward to the continued adventure in the next book in the series.

Historia
The company chairman lay on the cold ground of the woods, his eyes unseeing, his orange hunting jacket punctured by a rifle bullet at close range. Around him stood the four executives with whom he had been hunting, each with his or her own complicated agenda, each with a reason not to be sorrowful about the man's death. If he read it in a book, Lucas Davenport thought, it would seem like one of those classic murder mysteries, the kind where the detective gathers everyone together at the end and solves the case with a little speech.
