Maybe 20% F-1 and the rest business and self-help advice...boring at times. DC seems a great guy and had an interesting career, I expected more of his racing story and the people he interacted with during that career.

Has Vostok turned you off from other books in this genre?
First half of story was consistent The Loch; the second half went into the ether of science fiction to a degree ending my interest in this author. ‘Faction’ is great – this was comic book stuff.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Vostok?
the second half of the book should have been returned to the author for rewrite
